...Dr. Kate maintains an active blog on constitutional topics focused on the Obama eligibility issue... She has now organized a Usurpathon campaign which involves a trip to Washington, DC next week with other patriots to deliver a letter to Congress demanding that the eligibility question be resolved. Her four-day sojourn will include other patriotic activities as well... On Tuesday, September 7, we begin at Walter Reed Army Medical Center on the Georgia Street side at 11:30 a.m., and that is a rally in support of Lt. Col. Terry Lakin. He is one of our heroes as far as people standing up and acting on their beliefs, and we are presently trying to arrange an interview with Col. Lakin primarily to air on Revolution Radio or to do an article about it. As you can understand, its a little bit difficult because he basically has to say nothing in order to have his case go forward. So we hope to have an interview, and if not, his assistant has committed to doing a tape for us, so we will get that out. SHARON: Is that Margaret Hemenway? DR. KATE: Yes. Shes terrific. She was on Revolution Radio a little while ago, so this will work. We are outraged that hes being held in the Psychiatric ward of Walter Reed. SHARON: Is he still working or has he been admitted to the Psychiatric ward? DR. KATE: I think he was admitted and held there, and I understand from speaking with Margaret yesterday that he is working. So whether they allow him to go home or require him to work and then stay there, I think its outrageous. We will find out what the story is and his status.

It’s heartening to see the number of retired military officers supporting this man, but we really need to start seeing more *active* officers take a stand. Because I fear that soon it’s going to come to a showdown and we’re not going to want the military on the establishment’s side for this one.
We need them surrounding the white house, the supreme court and congress, prepared to drag out and arrest so-called “public servants” who refuse to do their duty and support the Constitution of the United States of America. The supreme court needs to be accountable to the people, elected like congress and the president.

LTC Lakin has been admitted to Walter Reed’s Psych Ward? Can anyone confirm this?
PSYCH WARD?!!!Thats right out of the gulag...
Our founders and our foundational document, the Constitution, disagree. Do you think yourself wiser than they? Are you familiar with their reasoning, and reject it, or are you simply unfamiliar with the reasons why we do NOT have an elected Supreme Court?
A monumentally BAD idea! As well as being Unconstitutional and reactionary rather than conservative.
I think they were overly-optimistic in assuming that anybody selected for such an important position would be a patriot and have love for the law. A couple of centuries on and we see that this was a mistake.
The current supremes seem far more interested in a quiet life than taking on one of the more important constitutional issues of our time. They are failing to serve We The People and have to be impeached.
Why do you consider direct election a greater assurance of patriotism and love of the law? Need I remind you that 0bama was elected with some 54% of the vote?
A mistake? The Constitution a mistake? The reasoning of our founders (which you seem unfamiliar with at best) mistaken? And you call yourself a conservative? What is it you are trying to conserve?
OK, your turn. We have a corrupt supreme court that was arrived at through the constitutional process; how do you suggest we fix this?
You have a problem with Thomas, Scalia, Roberts, and Alito?
Do you really think we could find better jurists than they?
Who do you have in mind, Orly Taitz? LOL!!!
B$, they can serve as long as they are of good behavior, that is Constitutional, the myth is that they have irrevocable lifetime jobs.
“You have a problem with Thomas, Scalia, Roberts, and Alito?”
So, what’ve they been doing to safeguard the eligibility clause of the Constitution recently? Several eligibility cases have been appealed up to the supreme court but been denied a hearing. What could be simpler than (some more formal version of) “Show us the f-—ing birth certificate Zero, or lose the case”?
She would be immanently better than at least 5 of the current members.
What was a monumentally BAD idea, as well as being Unconstitutional and reactionary rather than conservative was the DIRECT ELECTIONS OF SUPREME COURT JUSTICES.
Nothing to do with their lifetime tenure barring Congressional impeachment.
Do you also think that Supreme Court Justices should be directly elected? Are you aware of the founders reasons why they are not? Are you aware of the founders reasoning, and reject it, or are you simply unaware of the founders reasoning why Justices of the Supreme Court are not directly elected?
Not very well it would seem, sorry.....
Do you also think that Supreme Court Justices should be directly elected?
No I don't, I just oppose the idea that they are untouchable, which in fact they seem to be. I remember the signs across the country "Impeach Earl Warren," didn't seem to have any effect.
Are you aware of the founders reasoning, and reject it, or are you simply unaware of the founders reasoning why Justices of the Supreme Court are not directly elected?
Actually I am aware of the Founders fear of the Court becoming exactly what it has, a bunch of dictators that let one man rule over the many. Which is why the founders placed so much importance on the fact that rights come to the individual directly from God.
Now they come from a Judge.
