Well what a difference the prospect of success makes. Back when, then Senator, Obama seemed convinced that the “surge” in Iraq would spell disaster and stated that he would actively oppose it.
Now that Iraq seems well on the road to stability President Obama is singing a different tune.

And VP Biden is boasting how this new Iraqi government will work when as a Senator he said that it would never work and that the only solution was to divide Iraq into 3 states.
