MCJROTC - The leadership and teamwork skills have served me in good stead all my life. 1Sgt Daly, Gunny Gawne, and Lt. Col. Ruhsam were great role models. In my 50’s, still remember my manual of arms for the M1 and M14, how to take down , clean and reassemble them as well as a .45. Also proper procedure on the firing line and what a good sight picture is. All kids were treated like adults, ( probably for the first time in their life). I can also wield a mean iron, cause the local laundry never seemed to put the right crease in my uniforms. God bless them all, cause they are on guard duty in heaven. and Thanks to them.

“Thanks to them.”

I don’t think anybody is discounting the value of military training however when it is mandated by the gubmint then you have a problem.

That’s what happened in Germany in the 1930’s and that didn’t end well.........

I don’t think it was mandatory and I seriously doubt that they have firearms training. Also, I seriously doubt that the history of the United States and love for the Country will be taught.

Worshiping obama and singing his praises, Whitey is bad,Christians are bad and bigoted , homosexuality is good will probably be the curreclum.

If it is mandatory, I am not for it and if the Government is involved, knowing what they advocate, it won’t be good for us.
