Obviously, you don’t keep up with Sarah Palin and I really don’t have the time or the interest to continue our conversation, at least not tonight. You assume and presume too much and you try to assign motives for the actions of others. That’s careless and it’s raw speculation that’s all too often wrong and wrong headed.
We don’t view McCain all that much different, but unlike you, I don’t carry my opinions of him onto the backs of Sarah Palin or Jan Brewer or Scott Brown or anyone else who endorsed him. Political endorsements are made for a variety of reasons. I honestly don’t know of a single person who’s ever voted on the basis of an endorsement, but I’m sure there are some out there, who vote on Lady Gaga’s endorsements too.
“Politics makes for strange bedfellows.”
Like I said before, I think you’re too young to actually understand politics. It’s not cut and dry or black and white. Get out and work in a campaign. Learn for yourself what’s involved. It isn’t pretty, but with a good candidate or worthy cause, it can be a lot of fun and also rewarding.
It didn’t used to be all about tearing down the opponent; that was only just part of it. People much prefer to have someone and with ideas and values to vote “for”, otherwise voters stick with fossil incumbents.
Joe Miller is the sterling example of a good candidate and he’s won his election. It’s just a matter of the absentee ballots to make it official.
DeMint endorsed and campaigned for Graham when Graham was being challenged by a conservative in the SC primary.
Palin endorsed and campaigned for McCain.
Their isn't a dimes worth of difference between the two circumstances and I've now pointed that out to you numerous times.
Yet you ignore it like a hypocrite and a 'bot...over and over again.
She is selecting the candidate she feels can bring more to the Party, but at the same time help the Republicans win both houses in November, which is why her pick is not always the most conservative. And she is not the only one offering endorsements. They come from Newspapers, Talk radio host, blogs, and many others. Yet none of those have a score card kept. Why Sarah?
The way I view Paul is that he may knows his stuff, but he could never become president, because he lack leadership skills. Intellectuals/Professors make very lousy leaders
I don't have to read his mind to know this.
Whine whine whine
How many McClintocks are there on the national political scene?
I can't think of anyone other than Tom. You know, that guy you didn't support for Governor of your state.
More than that he brought her to the country's attention. We all owe him for that...
And that courage in the face of daunting adversity is what the PDS afflicted fail to see in Sarah. She takes point and moves our side across the field, while our elder "statesmen" cower behind her skirts for cover.
Yet that seems to escape the notice of those on our side who irrationally hate her. All I can say is that they're shortsighted and of low awareness.
Such people will only belatedly realize what short shrift they've given to Sarah after she's moved the whole geo-political chessboard in favor of the American people.
How do old men stay so juvenile?
Fans??
Why do people treat politicians as celebrities. Are these people political groupies?
People that worship and treat these politicians as celebrities, make me recoil in disgust.
More importantly to me shows she is a person of honor...
But now all the anti Palin threads have but one OP. Takes all the fun out of guessing.
Yep - It’s a ‘look at me, see what I can do - trash a conservative on a conservative site’ mentality!
The Palintards want it to be between Palin and the usual RINOS. That’s the only way Palin won’t get hammered out of contention from the right flank.
You might want to call it a night..........
Thought you bowed out of FR.....liar
No, fourteen.
Maybe you should try learning mental math instead of simply counting on one hand.
I already paid McCain for introducing Sarah with my one vote for him in 2008. I'm paid in full, so he can KMA.
I have always been a huge fan of McClintock but I have never associated him with a Presidential run or the national political scene, when did that start, by the way you sound angry, is that necessary?
