Most of the reason that Obama won the youth vote in 2008 was because he was on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, etc... the "Youth Vote" does not have a solid belief structure. They simply went for Obama because Obama occupied that media space. Conservatives ignore the youth so the "Youth Vote" do not know that the conservative option exists. All they know is the strawman conservative that appears on Jon Stewart.

If attracting a Conservative to a political activism forum involves making sure it is drop-dead simple to over modify your text with unnecessary underlining, bolding and flashing colors then that person is probably not a Conservative to begin with and may be much happier on a forum that doesn't require so much individual effort as this one does.

There are a number of very good reasons not to offer these features at this time but there is NOTHING you can't do if you follow the suggestions I posted earlier in the thread.

Keep in mind that nothing in the Declaration of Independence is highlighted, colored, italicized or anything and it has communicated across the centuries quite well. If your post is worthy you need none of those trappings.

And the message is the point of this forum.
