This is really about “social conservatives” versus certain “fiscal conservatives.” The latter supposes supporting groups as HOMOCON is warranted because they claim to support smaller government, and will not major on social issues, but the reality is that you can only have smaller government insofar as the people are controlled from within, by God and or at least a sound conscience.
