Here is video of Republican Strategist Ed Rollins on Face the Nation with Bob Schieffer, where he was asked if the Republican Party needed to “do something” about RNC Chair Michael Steele. Schieffer had pointed out they had Ed Gillispe on because Steele would not come on the program because he now has a “bunker” mentality with all the controversy surrounding him.

Rollins said there is “no time” to do anything about Steele right now, but added there is no doubt that Steele has “obviously been a disaster,” and has “failed miserably.”

No one gives a hoot about what Ed Rollins has to say. What Michael Steele and RNC need to do right now is query every single Democrat running for office as to whether they back the POTUS Barack Hussein Obama on his “Muslim” stand in supporting the building of a Muslim Mosque next to the the 9/11 World Trade Center Twin Towers slaughter carried oput by Muslims in 2001. A simple yes or no from the Democrat candidate will do nicely!!!

And you say “no” to property rights and the first amendment in the case of Muslims? If so, perhaps you have more in common with the anti-property crowd in the Democratic party.

“We all know why he was chosen for the post.”

Actually, there is nothing wrong with having a black in the post; the problem is they chose the wrong one. Ken Blackwell was also considered. I submit he would have probably done a good job. That being said, talking negatively about Steele at this point in time just helps the DemCraps; The focus needs to be kept on the regime and its fellow socialists. Don’t give the dinosaurs any fodder.

Uh no. I will point this out to the ignorant. Steele won an election for his position. He was not chosen for anything.

I said that the moment Steele was nominated and a number of FReepers implied that I was a racist for saying so.

I can’t stand Mike Steele. Actually, I feel sorry for him as I would a severely retarded child, since he doesn’t act much better. However NOW IS NOT THE TIME to go after him. Like it or not (I don’t), he is on our team now, and the enemy are Progressives.

Steele was chosen for his RINO credentials, and the RNC thought because he was black it would fly better. The RINO message won’t fly no matter who is singing it.

Yeah, well, Obama won an election, too. Now, you tell me how a young man with no experience, with the flintiest of resumes, was not only nominated by a major party but was elected president. You know as well as I that if Obama had been a white guy with the same flinty resume he never would have got past the first primary.

“...chosen for his RINO credentials, and the RNC thought because he was black it would fly better”

Partially true, but incomplete. He was also chosen in an attempt to deflect DemCrap propoganda implying anti-black bias in the GOP. The “need” was further enhanced by the election of a “popular” black imposter President.

As an aside, the RINO vernacular is grossly overused and misapplied around here.

Uh, no. Steele won because he went to all the grassroot conservative groups and beat the Checked Pants Country Club establishment guy. In an election.
