From the way Charlie Rangel celebrated his 80th birthday bash, you would never know he’s a man caught up in 13 chargers of ethics violations and about to go on trial just before the November elections.
Rangel celebrated in high fashion at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan alongside Sen. Chuck Schumer, Gov. Patterson, and NY State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo who spent much their speeches defending the corrupt politician. The event was also a fundraiser for Rangel.

He’s on TV right now begging talk shows to invite him on to discuss his case. Really pathetic.
Dim leadership must be defecating bricks right about now. And that’s really........sweeeeet! lol
The congressional ruling class KNOW that little Charlie has too much on them to do him any damage. Besides, every welfare recipient in Harlem will vote for him again anyway.
With some luck, that will be his going away party....
...as stated before, he’ll have that seat as long as he wants it and doesn’t become a Republican.
