In April, Israeli intelligence reported Syria had armed Hezbollah, inside Lebanon, with Scud missiles capable of reaching any Israeli city. On the cusp of June, the entire world knew of the disastrous Mavi Marmara flotilla incident that read like a Turkish-sponsored provocation of violence.

James Hutchens, PhD, a decorated U.S. Army chaplain and President of the JerUSAlem Connection, the foremost Christian Zionist online magazine in America. With his organization’s ear to the ground in the Middle East and critical eye on U.S. foreign policy under the Obama administration, Hutchens can provide expert analysis of these events, particularly through a Judeo–Christian religious lens.
