Wha-wha-what?? I look at someone like Pete Stark and wonder how in the world did he make it in any career and with utter bewilderment on how he has been elected over a dozen times to be the representation for his constituents! His arrogance has already been on display when he said at this very same townhall meeting that the government has the right to do whatever they want. But someone was saving this little jewel for a new day as he goes on to say that E-Verify and denying illegals the right to work would be unconstitutional. This was right after he didnt seem to know what E-Verify was. And, then with utter contempt and disrespect for his own constituents, he scoffs and says with mockery, Oh, I know you guys dont like the Constitution!
I cant tell if he has a mental disorder, if its just an act, or if he really is truly baffled from all of the opposition coming from the audience. Any of these reasons are dangerous and the man needs to be booted out of office swiftly and surely!
The problem with E-verify is that the government is requiring businesses to fight illegal immigration when the government itself won’t. It’s the liberal way of adding another burden on employers. And it’s all due to the government’s failure to do its job.
He got there the same way Ozero did...inmates running the asylum!!!
It is against the law for someone who is here illegally to work and even for some who are here legally depending on what kind of visa they have. And it is illegal for someone to hire an illegal. We either believe in the Rule of Law or not. Your reasoning is nuts.
Employers already should be checking potential employees. At minimum calling past employers and checking school records and any degrees listed. One more step is not all that difficult.
Isn’t there a legal term called “poisoned fruit”? That is, a good (legal) deed done by a bad (illegal) deed is evil (illegal).
In other words, killing another to protect oneself, having commited a crime, is still murder. So Stark is not only wrong, he is actually advocating lawlessness.
How can you trust a man named Fortney?

Can he beat Jesus’s Kung Fu?

Stark should be the poster child for abortion on demand.

Incorrect. Killing someone in order to protect [defend] yourself [or even your family] is legitimately justified. If if wasn't defense then it was not a justified homicide... determining whether or not it was defense, and therefore justified, may rest upon a jury in sufficiently ambiguous circumstances.
I just hope someone gets a video of it, and provides an address to contribute the ass-beater's defense fund!
He’s Demented
Stark Raving Mad.
Hey, I understand it, I live in Arizona and we keep re-electing McCain. How's that for dumb?
Help Texas watch her borders. Watch live on 14 cameras and report illegals. Night cams in operation

(Yes, you see a lot of deer, rabbits and roadrunners- but I DID report a string of aliens running through the brush with packpacks [caught on night cam] recently)
