Three Americas - How Long Can it Last?
The Lonely Conservative ^ | 8/3/10 | The Lonely Conservative

Do you remember hearing the disgraced John Edwards talking about the “two Americas?” Class warfare at it’s finest. According to Edwards and his ilk there are only two Americas – the haves and the have-nots. The progressives and their friends in the media like to propagate this myth. The myth being that in America there are those who are evil because they earn a lot of money (themselves excluded, of course) while taking food out of the mouths of poor children. Unfortunately, too many Americans have bought into this line of thinking.

In fact, there are three Americas.

The Ruling Class: These are the people like John Edwards, President Obama, former President Clinton and his wife. They live lavishly and do nothing to hide their excesses. If they happen to be progressive Democrats the media plays it up, like they’re royalty and should be revered. In addition, we have those who contribute to the ruling class, and are granted special favors, privileges and tax breaks. In all fairness, there are a number of Republicans we can count among the ruling class. Obviously, they’re part of the problem. There are also a number of wealthy folks who aren’t part of the ruling class. And let’s not forget, for the most part the ruling class produces nothing, at least not without the help of other members of the ruling class.

The Dependent Class: The ruling class needs the dependent class to retain power. That’s why the ruling class must continue expanding the dependent class. This is where the whole cultural thing comes in. The more single moms we have, the more dependents we have. They even want those of us not yet dependent to feel dependent. [...]

It can only go on so long. Eventually the pyramid scheme crumbles.

And it's coming, soon.

Idiots who watch TV support the regime. All the networks own all the cable channels. They support Obama 100% including Fox Saudia.

I cancelled TV but on the radio today - Fox, CNN news were happy about the ground zero mosque. Online ditto Abc news/Disney, BBC, NPR.

Cable TV monthly bills keep the elites in power. Sports programming keeps em rich.

Nothing new under the sun. It lasts until the middle class realizes that the other two - the elites and the underclass - are one. Rulers such as Obama, a Clinton or a Kennedy are placed in their positions by people who are just like them.

Not according to George Orwell in 1984. In his view, there have always been three classes, and the elite class is constantly tweaking the system to ensure that the divisions remains permanent. Orwell said the pyramid doesn't so much crumble as the elite and second tier change places, and then the whole thing starts over again.

the rich will always retain their wealth.....their power....

it'll be them against the rest.....the workers who actually produce will be lumped in with the takers...
