Andy G has been a card carring “progressive” all his life.

Both Andy Griffith and Ron Howard campaigned for Obama in 2008. The administration isn’t “using” Griffith, he’s a willing participant and a useful idiot...

Andy “lied” about something on almost every show. Most of the time it was so Barney wouldn’t get his feelings hurt but
he still lied. So this add kind of just comes natural for good ole Andy.

"It stunned me to read that Andy Griffith is now on cable television shilling for the Democrat's health care deform legislation. "Opie is a liberal dopie, too.
Very sad.

Andy is old and probably back on the sauce. So was I when I recorded this...sigh.
What Ever Happened to Mayberry?
Best to wish him well and let it go.

Griffith is a lifetime Democrat. He is a nice human being and terrific performer, but he is ignorant, as many Democrats of the old school are ignorant. And now, he is too old to be studying and overthrowing the liberal lies he has bought his whole life. He is fixated on helping the Democrat party as he has always been. It’s time America wakes up and smell the “Mayberry” coffee, only this time it ain’t brewed by Aunt Bee.

Andy Griffith is, of course, free to be used by the Obama administration if he wishes

Andy Taylor wouldn’t endorse a woman’s right to choose to have her unborn baby removed piece by piece.
Andy Griffith and Ronny Howard don’t have a problem with it.
Liberalism affects the heart. When you choose to separate church and state, you choose to throw your morals under the bus.

Its so typical that this administration thinks seniors can't tell the difference between a fictional town sheriff and a hollywood actor.
The joke will ultimately be on them.

Andy has never been a conservative, but he played one on TV.
I have always heard that the true Andy Griffith is more like his character, "Lonesome Rhodes" in his movie "A Face In The Crowd" than Andy Taylor on the Griffith show.
There's an inner streak of meaness that comes through from Andy, it can even be seen in some of his most recent interviews on UTube.
Andy Griffith is no Andy Taylor. Besides, the life of the Griffith show was Don Knotts, and the show went to hell after he left.
