But there is one reference that is very concrete: the reference to Obama’s birth weight. If Obama and/or Ayers knew a birth weight for Obama it was from some other document besides the Hawaii BC if that was the item Obama amended.

I've not read *Dreams* and don't remember anyone reporting on BO's birth weight. Is that info really in the book?

It’s in the context of saying that the Dunhams weren’t thrilled about a baby but then the baby came home, 8 pounds 2 ounces and hungry. So they warmed up to the idea as daily needs had to be met.

I originally was pointed to the information by looking at http://www.doctorzebra.com/prez/g44.htm#zree3 , where I read that doctor’s reaction to the short letter Dr Scheiner put out as a summary of Obama’s health. He was not impressed, to say the least. Notes 3 different points which suggest that Dr Scheiner was just trying to take up space without saying what a real doctor would say.
