Thank YOU for your most civil post. ;o) And, thank you for your explanation. I can understand why you are upset at the draft dodgers...and I think of those who fled to Canada or some other foreign country, to be draft dodgers.
But, I can also understand why some people did their best to get out of the draft. They, simply, weren’t cut out for that job. Those in the military now WANT to be there! And, God bless ‘em for it.
However, this grudge you are holding does nothing but hurt you. I hope you are able to get over it soon. A lot of water has passed under that bridge...
Good advice, dixie, but one has to nurse a grudge and I really don’t dwell on the past. I just responded with my opinion on that time period. I will look for you on the boards, you are a very nice person. Take care.
