Yet, Most Americans will likely view it as a unilateral victory, without noticing that the larger part of the dual purpose battle was to lock in Sunni Islam and their final stranglehold on the world.

I'm saddened as much as astounded at how many conservatives still know very little about the difference between Shi'a and Sunni, or minimize its import.

When Desert Storm broke, the reporters showed such ignorance of military matters, yet they had all of Desert Storm to prepare. I feel like many in the conservative movement are as bad as the MSM was then.

Perhaps. Time will tell. A lot of other things may be happening between now and September.

I think an Obama late October attack on Iran is entirely plausable. Why not?

Palin has called him out on his manifest lack of cojones. That's hitting him "where it hurts." It's a direct challenge to his very self-image as a Great Man.

I would not be at all surprised if he did something--extreme.

My money so far has been on stealing the November election to ensure Democrat control of Congress, but an Iran strike might be an element in that overall strategy.
