CHINA PASSES JAPAN, BECOMES #2 BIGGESTS ECONOMY

When Bill Clinton gave China our cutting edge missile and other technology, in exchanged for campaign contributions, the world did virtually nothing. It was ChianaGate and no one noticed. Why? Because of Monica Lewinsky’s blue dress and other diversions.

But today the matter has come home to roost as China is poised to shortly overcome the U.S. economy to become the #1 economy in the world. China is growing at a whopping 10% per year, while Japan is 3% or less. The Chinese GDP was about $5 trillion in 2009. Japan’s was nominally ahead at $5 trillion.

What’s wrong with this picture? China is a Communist nation and they are beating US at our own game.

Why? Because the U.S. has been basically socialist in our economic policies for years now. We just don’t call it Socialism.

China is already the #1 largest exporter, steel producer and care buyer. China is so big that if they ever decided to arbitrarily stop buying any single product, they could topple manufacturers in America and other nations virtually overnight.

Yet this takeover did not happen overnight. It happened incrementally with politicians selling out and cozying up to China for decades, the most notable, Bill Clinton.

So, what’s my point? Simple. The deals Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are putting into motion today are far worse than the mischief done by the Clinton administration. Yet, as bad as we think we are feeling the pain today, we have virtually no concept of just how painful these cancerous policies will be several years down the road.

And just when it appears that the Democrats will be ousted in November, don’t hold your breath. Obama might sign an executive order, legalizing more than 10 million illegals, who will vote Democrat in November. Or he might take a move out of Bill Clinton’s playbook and bomb an aspirin factor in Sudan or get macho in Iran or elsewhere to get a temporary surge in poll numbers for the coat tail effect to usher in another wave of liberal Democrat rule.

Don’t forget to vote in November. Don’t take anything for granted. The price for Freedom is perpetual vigilance.

This rant is funny. The ranter acts as if there is something wrong or dangerous about the economic growth of China.

The ranter somehow assumes that the communists in China who kept the nation in a dark ages condition should and are continuing that condition. He fails to consider there can be positive change. He fails to consider that there is the largest population of very intelligent, hard working and diligent people in the world.

The fact is China is on the move and the change resulting from that evolutionary historical process is not only not apparent but unknown.

Meanwhile American once great cities are disintegrating before out eyes. A city boy was elected to save the situation but he is proven to be incompetent and will exacerbate the relative economic differences.

The fact to remember..... China is

... china is still a sh!t hole.

Have you seen Detroit or Atlanta these days? How about Los Angeles or our beloved Washington, DC? Have you seen Shanghai or Hong Kong? Do you think we should forego opportunity. because we disagree with politics?

In the late 1800's, the Chinese leader sent emissaries to his neighbors. Britain was sending warships, China sent gift ships. China was more interested in commerce rather than gunshots. Nothing has changed, except that they went pat Mao a long time ago.

I will be heading to Shanghai inSeptember. I am setting up employment opportunity in the USA. I would rather help my world, not just the idiots running us into the ground.

If you can't beat them at war, get in line to make some money. They aren't going anywhere. As for the Loral episode, nobody has thought about all the Garmin and other GPS's MADE IN CHINA. I was pissed at Clinton, not the Chinese. I bought duped 8-tracks when in Taiwan circa 1967. It is still Chinese people doing Chinese people stuff! Their gum't just tries to keep the lid on things. We do stuff just as bad, but in more subtle ways! Our country has not seen true freedom for the last 100+ years.

Good luck on your plan to save the country. You do have one don't you, lib?

The problem isn’t China, it’s the adoption of social democracy. And the 1% to 2% annual GDP growth that comes along with the deal.

Here we are, with our debt growth at 10% annual while China has a growth rate of 10%. We’re toast.

I know Rush loves to call them the ChiComs, but the reality is, China is more capitalist than the US, and the US is much more Communist than China. They should be called the ChiCaps (Chinese Capitalists) and we the AmeriComs (American Communists). An objective view would confirm that statement. The growth of the Chinese GDP is a reflection of its unwavering commitment (and return to its 3000 year history) to capitalism in its most basic form.

They reality is, China's flirtation with Communism was the aberration; capitalism with a fascist oligarchy is the norm. And as the US is based on European principles and concepts, our flirtation with out-and-out capitalism - which has been slowly dying over the last 40 years - was also an aberration. See our parents, the EU.

Try Shanghai. Or Xiamen. Or Hong Kong. Or Beijing. Or Nanjing. Or Tianjin. Or Harbin. Or Sekou. Or Macau. Or on and on...

You want a sh!t hole, try India. Or Brazil. Or Mexico. Or pretty much the entire continent of Africa. You’ll find most of the cities in Eastern China are a LOT closer to the US than you’d think.

Give it a shot, you might find you like a country that actually allows - and encourages - capitalism.

I called you by your first name. You decide!

I did ask what you plan for our fine country in peril? It feels good to bitch, I am sure, but it feels better to make a difference! I vote for the latter, with my feet and my wallet!

As for delusional, read your own posts!

Article is wrong. US is second biggest economy. EU is biggest. China is third.

Of course if China wants to be first, they could pretend that EU is not a single economy and is rather various different contrubuting states. Just as they could pretend that the US is not a single economy and is rather various different contributing states. Wouldn’t be true, but China would feel better.

Did you know that there are probably more Christians in China than the USA? Does God respect a person, or a country? Does He promise any favor to anyone other than Israel?

Godly men founded our country. They are dead, and Obama is in charge. Where is God? Is He rooting for Obama?

I am a Christian. I am going to China to work with Christians who make stuff we can use in the USA. I will also be working with some Buddhists. Should I respect their religion or ideas?

Inquiring minds want to hear your doctrine to save our country.

Have I said one thing to you about what you are doing? No. I am doing things that I feel are in the best interest of myself and my country. WHAT I do is none of your business... like what you are doing is none of mine. I am taking a proactive stand in what I can do.

I DO believe in American Exceptionalism. I do not like china... we will fight a war with china one day... if we survive obama and the islamic marxist caliphate.
