If the fabricated quote were the only evidence you'd be right.
what do you mean by that?
But by all other authoritative sources it was true - we had beaten the crap out of the communists at the same time Walter Cronkite was convincing America we were losing.
The US media has been twisting the truth to suit their warped leftist agenda ever since.
The quote was fabricated. He never said it.
Lying is not a good way to combat “twisting the truth”.
Lying is also a sign of the weakness of one’s position.
When climate scientists are caught falsifying their research they say it’s OK because by all other authoritative sources (the UN’s IPCC) the world is hotter now than ever. But if it the facts were so clear, they could use real statistics to show it.
So, when it comes to lying, here’s a few rules I try follow:
1. Don’t lie and don’t spread lies.
2. If someone makes up a lie to support his position, his position is probably weak. Not necessarily, but probably.
I never really did understand why you directed your comments at me, but they're all true.
I might have clicked on the wrong “post reply” ... I was trying to respond to the person who posted the story. Not the first time I have made that mistake by the way!
And it only took a year for us to straighten that out:)
For me that’s probably a record!
