If only women ruled the world . . .
Striking a blow for her sex, the Morning Joe co-host today claimed that the Wall Street meltdown "simply would not have happened" if more women had been in charge.
Mika was reacting to news that the Dems managed to slip into the recently enacted financial regulation bill a provision--authored by Rep. Maxine Waters--that would create "at least 20 new Offices of Minority and Women Inclusion" with the power to kill government contracts with financial firms not meeting new "diversity standards."
Tina Brown seconded her sister's sentiment, blaming the financial industry's woes on "all this phallic obsession."

GMTA. From the story:
“What’s good for Wall Street is presumably good for Washington, too. Mika Brzezinski—founder of Feminists For Palin, perhaps?”
What’s next, too many men, then too many white men, then too many white Jewish men???!!!!!
That’s an artifact of the Mercator projection used in most maps, giving the illusion Alaska is larger than it really is. In reality, it’s about the size of Florida. You wouldn’t want baby caribou and seals to be harmed would you? /sarc
What a huge load of BS. Women and men think differently because our brains are wired differently. There are men and women who are excellent leaders, and there are men and women who are terrible leaders.
This is more of the same divisive garbage from the left - it's the gender/race card play. Is it any wonder that this attitude is null and void if the individual is conservative?
Next? Too many dirty white Jewish men. They need a shower.
She might retract that when she realizes she made a case for Mama Grizzlies.
Also, it appears that Phase 2 of the strategy for the midterm elections has now been unleashed
Phase 1: Insert race into the election to rouse up racial-minority vote.
Phase 2: Insert gender into the election to split the female vote from the male and bring them back to the DNC.
I suppose we could also consider the pseudo attack on Wall Street inserting class into the election, setting the non-obscenely rich against the obscenely rich. Of course, that’s how they cast it. But all of their “financial reform” is really a handout to the obscenely rich donors to the DNC.
Bingo. See #21.
Without risk taking men:
1) the earths population would be a fraction of what it is now—hunting is too dangerous—
2) Humans would still be living in caves
—that stick house might collapse-
3) Women would be treated like cattle
-—fighting to protect women is too violent—
Seems little Mika forgot who was in charge of Congress that started the melt down. Did she miss Pelosi’s answer to $135/bbl oil to outlaw 3-way light bulbs? Now that’s what I call decisive womyn thinking right there. Yea, we need more of that. I guess Mika also missed Pelosi’s approval rating for Congress. Who did Mika blow to get on TV?
Pelosi was one of the women in charge. She was in charge of Congress and the purse strings before the collapse.
If women ruled the world, we would have WWIII in about 2 weeks.
Yes, because we know how fiscally responsible women are....(chirp, chirp)...
But seriously, if, as in Mika’s dry dreams, Liberal women were in charge, we would be in a depression.
Liberal female rage and a skewed sense of justice would insure more “everyone deserves a home” mentality and impending doom....
Maybe this pea brain never heard of Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, and the rest of the democrat women in congress...It would take conservative women to get the budget in order, they do it every day for their families..
Wasn’t hard at all. First, get eleven grandchildren and then wait.
Agreed.
She might not ever be elected President, but Sarah Palin (along with Vice President Sowell, Sec of State Bachmann, Sec of Treasury Williams) would lead this country to greatness....I can dream, no?
