I argue that by far the most destructive force on the planet is power-driven financiers and profit-driven corporations and their cartels backed by military might; and that the global warming myth is a red herring that contributes to hiding this truth.

Dude, get off our side!

“Global warming is strictly an imaginary problem of the First World middleclass,”

Dang, I wish I'd said that! So succinct that it could be used on a bumper sticker.

Gore “strikes me as someone working for someone -- as someone who will financially benefit from this. He does not give me impression of someone who genuinely cares about environmental or social justice.

Sane Americans knew that about Gore from the get go when he started his rampage about global warming, but I am glad this guy has said it. Gore can add this expose to his list of problems: Chads, Chakras, and Climate.

Can anyone point me at one of the older threads that had that huge list of links, documents etc on all the aspects of the global warming fraud? Alternatively can that list be posted here?

“Someone is going to make a lot of money from these schemes. I have great distrust for it. It is not motivated by true concern for social justice and the environment. It can only be about powerful financiers. I see it as an horrendous scam,” Rancourt said, adding he “I completely agree” with UK environmental guru James Lovelock who called carbon trading “verging on a gigantic scam.”

Precisely my perspective on the matter of Carbon Trading schemes as well, and the reason I have posted often that it’s NOTHING BUT A STING OPERATION.

Every so often I hear the piano theme music from the old Paul Newman, and whatsizname movie “The Sting”, as I read about Cap and Trade, or Carbon Trading schemes. It should be the Obama theme song in todays World.

Great quote:
“Global warming is strictly an imaginary problem of the First World middleclass.”
Only the first world middleclass--what is left of them--have had this "imaginary problem" foisted on them by the political classes and their clients. They didn't imagine for themselves or for their own interests a confiscatory tax regime based on an ordinary gas that occurs naturally in our atmosphere.

“I felt ill walking out of the theatre. [An Inconvenient Truth is] terrible. It does not respect the intelligence of the viewer. The film does not acknowledge people can think for themselves at all,”

This explains a lot about the Nobel Prize Committee.

Funny, all the pretty people gave it an Oscar. But, then again, they gave Mr. Skittles a peace prize. How come the pretty people are the ones that decide these things? Reagan, Thatcher and Pope Paul collapsed the Soviet Union without firing a shot, freeing millions and they don’t get diddly from the Nobel crowd.

“They are all virtually all service intellectuals. They will not truly critique, in a way that could threaten the power interests that keep them in their jobs. The tenure track is just a process to make docile and obedient intellectuals that will then train other intellectuals,”
