It’s not political correctness. It’s socialism.

We have plenty of traitors in the federal government.
Also, it will be interesting to see what happens after the decriminalization of marijuana passes here in CA in November (and it will). Will these national forest pot farms dry up as more and more people grow their own and prices drop like a rock? We’ll see.

...a federal government agency has classified an illegal immigrant arrested for cultivating marijuana in a national forest as a displaced traveler from Michoacán Mexico. When governments start pretending, bad things happen. We used to pretend that black people aren't people, and we got slavery. Germany pretended that Jews aren't people, and we got the holocaust. We now pretend that preborn people aren't people, and we have millions of abortions every year. We pretend that homosexuality is normal, and we get perverted social views. And pretending that illegal aliens are "displaced travelers", only makes the situation worse.

“Displaced traveler”? And to think I was just now getting accustomed to the U.S. government’s really distasteful term “irregular migrant.”

Well, that’s a new one—probably my favorite euphemism yet. It used to be “economic migrant.”
Displaced Traveler... I’ll have to remember that one.

Soon the law-abiding citizens will have no reason to follow the law. All the invaders and criminals treated with more respect than the law-abiding citizens is taking its toll.

Howie Carr, noted Boston radio personality and columnist, has been saying "I wanna be an illegal alien" for years now. In a lawless society, people shift their allegiance from the overall government towards smaller, more tightly knit groups--family, clan, tribe, religion, gang... you get the idea.
To: Man50D
Isn't the description is missing one of those "mandatory" journo-/government-/new-speak adjectives? Wouldn't the person in question actually be an "alleged displaced traveler?"

The only way to resolve this abuse of language is with a baseball bat. Some people need sense knocked into them.
