It’s all part of Palin’s strategery to win over Obama’s independent voters. The independents aren’t too literimate.

Well, ya know what is said about opinions, like another body part, everyone has one, but don’t bother refudiating that.

Our articulate and genius(!) President mispronounces divisive, formidable and corpsman. He also misuses a and an.
Double standard, hard at work.

Along with dealing the race card, one of the left's tricks - even here on FR - is to administer an anal spelling bee.
It's all part of the Alinsky "humiliate" plan and means nothing. They will try and make a "Dan Quayle" moment out of this, but nobody is buying it.
It's more symbolism over substance that the left is so famous for using. The object of language is to communicate, and Sarah communicated well what she meant, with "refudiate". I understood it, and so did the rest of the country.
Just wait a couple days and the brain dead press will find some other minor point to harp on about Sarah.
Man, it must be nervewracking to be THAT afraid of someone.

I have seen potato spelled with an e.
I picked up a German made V slicer and the instructions it came with spelled it P O T A T O E.

Simple web searches reveal that 'refudiate' was used long before Sarah Palin ever became a household name.
A previous thread and examples of pre-Palin use:
Refudiate has been used several times by others in previous years. It was used mostly in blog posts, but writers were using the word.
A couple of more professional examples from 2004 and 2005 are:
[National Park Service] Research Report GRTE-N-1
The Elk of Grand Teton and Southern Yellowstone National Parks National Park Service Arrowhead
THE ELK POPULATION
[paragraph 3] These strongly refudiate opinions that elk and other wildlife were originally scarce in the mountains.

I believe “refudiate” is the proper usage in the seven states Obama discovered.

The left's two-year-long, desperate attempt to destroy Sarah Palin via sometimes vicious mockery and constantly characterizing her as an idiot not worthy of anyone's respect has failed. She is more influential than ever and draws huge crowds whenever she speaks. Her endorsement for a political candidate is golden. She has become more and more astute about handling the left's endless criticism by avoiding the MSM, being a contributor on Fox News and using
Twitter and
Facebook to get her views known. She is raising money for Republicans and making important political friends all over the country.
I believe Sarah Palin will run for the 2012 Republican nomination - and win. I suspect the left believes it, too and are doing all they can to destroy her public image. This won't be successful. The country is hurting and the Democrats are about to be politically vanquished in the next election. If Sarah Palin is no Ronald Reagan she is also no Dan Quaye. However, like Reagan, she will surmount the left's attempts to diminish her.
