Obama wins! And Journolisters rejoice
Daily Caller ^ | 07/21/2010 | Jonathan Strong

Nov. 3:

DAVID ROBERTS, GRIST: It’s all I can do not to start bawling.

LUKE MITCHELL, HARPER’S: I’m picturing something like VJ Day in Times Square. Seriously!

JOHN BLEVINS, SOUTH TEXAS COLLEGE OF LAW: It’s all I can do to hold it together.

Nov. 4:

MOIRA WHELAN, NATIONAL SECURITY NETWORK: I’m looking across the street at my polling place, and the line is wrapped around the block. I nearly burst into tears when I saw it. I’m feeling like today is closing the door on a terrible era, and opening another. I’m glad you started this thread because I was feeling kind of like I was the only one who is deeply emotional today.

HENRY FARRELL, GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY: I had to close my office door yesterday because I was watching YouTube videos of elderly African Americans saying what this meant to them and tearing up.

JOSH BEARMAN, LA WEEKLY: 11 months ago I burst into tears by myself on a plane while watching Hardball when my mind wandered to the image of President Obama being sworn in. I’ve been fighting it ever since.

EZRA KLEIN, AMERICAN PROSPECT: OHIO!

ALEC MCGILLIS, WASHINGTON POST: If you need further proof that VA is looking to go blue, check out what’s going on in VA-5 in deepest Southside Virginia, where Tom Perriello, my college roommate and a very good guy, is now up .06 percentage points — 2,000 votes — against Virgil Goode with 88 percent reporting.

GREG ANRIG, THE CENTURY FOUNDATION: This is really happening.

ADELE STAN, THE MEDIA CONSORTIUM: At last I can breathe.

This story will never break out of conservative circles. Just like the “Climategate” story was supposed to be the “game changer”, this will go unreported and disappear except for FOX.

Apparently these people are dumber that I thought. We all know they’re moonbats and that’s fine. They had no idea these posts would become public I’m guessing. They look like even bigger douchebags than they already are. ( My apologies to douchebags everywhere by lumping them in with these “journalists”)

Nah, Sarah already posted the story on the first batch.

They can’t help themselves, they have to cover everything she says.

A terrible era?

These people are so deluded that while they deserve our sympathy they continue to be deadly dangerous.

MICHAEL HIRSH, NEWSWEEK: "a post-ideological presidency"

Obama is "post-ideological?"

How does someone that stupid manage to find his way from his home to his office and back every day?

I can only imagine that Hirsch has a minder who constantly accompanies him to help him accomplish the daily tasks of life and wipe the drool off of his chin.

That they’re partisan is no surprise but the gooey, over the top emotionalism is retch-inducing. They sound like a bunch of 12 year old girls at a boy-band concert.

I am remembering Bill Sammon’s book about how the media did all in it’s power to influence the Bush/Cheney election night.

How they called states for Gore with 2% of the vote counted and refused to call a state for Bush/Cheney with 75% of the vote counted.

How they tried to influence the Florida count BEFORE the polls closed in the panhandle.

We can never all these dogs to pee on us again. NEVER.

Good investment made by Tucker Carlson (for purchase of JL archives). He should see it multiply times ten in ad revenue.

Their whole lovefest has been downloaded and will bleed out until election day. They’ve been caught with their pants down and have NO excuses - NONE!

He doesn't. He has a cot in the storage room.

DAVID ROBERTS, GRIST: It’s all I can do not to start bawling.

Same here, but it wouldn't have been for happiness, that's for sure.

How they tried to influence the Florida count BEFORE the polls closed in the panhandle.

Actually, they succeeded to some degree as thousands of Panhandle residents ended up not voting. Thank God they fell short of their goal.

Reading his posts, my bet is that he is all of 5’3” (in his high heels) and got shoved in his locker daily while in high school. All that pent-up resentment.

The expression “circle jerk” springs to mind for some reason.

It's appropriate; in any serious factual discussion, not a single one of them can hold their own.

Is that a joke? The entire media world has already corrupted and re-written the story to indict FOX News, Breitbart and the Tea parties. And their lies will be the only things that survive in the public’s mind.

I wonder how long before Pelosi calls for a congressional investigation to find out who the hacker is.
