Even though we live in a democracy in which the people are supposed to rule, the Pentagon refuses to release the contents of a much-publicized survey about openly gay military service. However, Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Pentagon spokesmen Geoff Morrell, and at least one gay activist group all admit that the survey is designed to facilitate open homosexuality within the ranks.
I strongly encourage gays and lesbians who are in the military to fill out these forms, said Defense Secretary Robert Gates during a July 8 press briefing. Weve organized this in a way to protect their privacy and the confidentiality of their responses through a third party, and its important that we hear from them [lesbians and homosexuals]
Obviously, we did not intend for this survey to be shared in such a public fashion, added Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell during a separate July 9 press briefing.
The intent of the survey is not in any way to conduct a referendum on whether or not there should be a repeal Dont ask, Dont tell. That is not the mandate of the working group. The working group has been tasked with discerning the how you go about implementing a repeal, when it were to it were to take place.
In fact, Gates already has informed Congress that the Pentagon intends to mandate openly gay military service. Indeed, the question before us is notwhether the military prepares to make this change, but how we best prepare for it, Gates told Congress last February.
Gay activist groups say they are worried that the survey may be unintentionally biased and serve to invite negative responses. However, one prominent gay activist group, the Palm Center, admits that the survey is an integral part of ending the compromise Dont Ask, Dont Tell policy...

Aka "Flim Flam"
Please Dear God, save our country from these communists.
“facilitate open homosexuality within the ranks”
I just threw up...this is disgusting.
I never thought in a million years that my country would screw up the finest fighting force in the history of man. But, hey this is Washington, “if it ain’t broke, then by God fix it until it is.”
I stick by my argument; “Does allowing gays to serve opening in the military make us a better fighting force, more capable of waging war, and killing our enemy.”
That is a big fat “F’n” NO!
Obama and his merry band of traitors will do anything to hurt our country. The military is there to defend us, to keep our country safe not let a bunch of sexual deviants destroy morale in units that put their lives on the line for us.
Obama can’t be impeached soon enough, there is plenty of ammunition, we just need enough Americans in Congress to make it happen.
It’s going to give a whole new meaning to “Special” forces.
Yeah, it also changes the meaning of “never leaving your buddies behind.”
Why the hell is our Defense Secretary bowing?
BAKU, AZERBAIJAN JUNE 6: U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates (R) bows as he shakes hands with Azerbaijans Minister of Defense, General-Colonel Safar Abiyev on the tarmac at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport June 6, 2010 in Baku, Azerbaijan. On the table in front of Aliyev is a letter from President Barack Obama. Gates left Singapore earlier today after participating in the Shangri-La Dialogues Asia Security Summit, which ran from June 4 to 6, 2010. DL
They should paint one side red, one side green, one side blue, one side yellow, and one side purple.
That would be so much more faboulous!
Even though we live in a democracy in which the people are supposed to rule, the Pentagon refuses to release the contents of a much-publicized survey about openly gay military service.... the survey is designed to facilitate open homosexuality within the ranks. So, when do these activists find the time to be activists? Why aren't they doing their duty, instead of trying to turn the barracks into a soap-dropping, cheek-spreading orgy of perversion?
If we don’t win in November — it could happen...If we do win in November we can block all this ridiculous talk shut it down - Congress has to pass the legislation that would repeal or replace DADT - If we can take back the house and maybe the senate all this talk goes away...That would be much more fabulous — IMO!
So it's automatically designed to give a positive, pro-homosexual outcome to the study.
Typical left wing crap. Come up with the predetermined, pro-queer answer, and then design the poll questions to reach that position.
Probably costs a ridiculously high amount of money, which is paid to union "researchers", and taken directly after some sort of "diversity training classes".
Bull$#!t in - Bull$#!t out!
Just wait until the history books are changed and 'Pat' Henry stands up and says 'Give me gay man sex or give me death'
‘Give me gay man sex or give me death’
I always thought it was the same thing...I’m just saying not to point out the obvious or anything.
Tick toc tick toc. If Obama doesn’t change the law on ‘don’t ask don’t tell’ in about 5 months or less — it is not going to happen.
“If Obama doesnt change the law on dont ask dont tell in about 5 months or less it is not going to happen.”
If it never happens that will be a good thing...Nothing good and I mean nothing, could possibly come from this.
I always thought it was the same thing...Im just saying not to point out the obvious or anything.
I see a rash of early outs and retirements in the future for ALL the services once gays and lesbians are allowed in.......bet.
