Last week the NAACP issued a carefully worded letter calling on Tea Party leaders to address racism in their own ranks. The reaction from the extreme right was immediate and vitriolic: "How dare those dirty n- I mean, how dare they?!" Within a few hours, Tea Party supporters flooded the Internet with posts using different variations on the argument that calling someone else racist is itself a racist act. There is, it would seem, a bevy of legal precedent for this, including the famous case of Smelt It v. Dealt It.
One Free Republic poster exemplified the Tea Party's new-found maturity in his reply to the civil rights group's statement: "I know you are, NAACP, but what am I?"
Moreover, the NAACP has no right to make such a claim because it is a racist organization. Not only does the group's name contain an antiquated slur for African Americans, it exists specifically to benefit one race!

No inkling of a hint that the original charge was not true. That the NAACP either pre-judged the tea folk without knowing, or simply did what the Democrats always do, which is label their opponents racist as a reflex action.
The tea partyers don’t care what color you are, they only care if you love America and you believe in the constitution. Thats pretty simple. And if the NAACP’ers would come down and walk around any tea gathering they would know that. They would know that they would be more than welcome, because the tea folk don’t care what you look like, they only care what you believe. If you love what we love you are one of us.
The race obsessed see race where ever they look, because thats the lens through which they see the world. They don’t know any other. They can’t imagine a world in which race doesn’t matter. But its out there. Come down to the next tea gathering and you’ll find out.
The whole NAACP thing was timed to distract attention away from the New Black Panther-Voter Intimidation/DOJ debacle.
I noticed that whatever the Left accuses others of doing is exactly what they are doing. Very hard to refute.
My husband and son attended the big rally in D.C. They both said that every type of person (old/young/black/white/asian/hispanic/christian/jew etc.... was represented. In fact, they joked that it was over a million of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. The NAACP is doing the WH’s bidding. Yell the word “racist” and you suddenly get attention. It is all a ploy. Of course, the NAACP never said anything against the BP’s who called for killing crackers and cracker babies. They are showing how bought they really are. Just a thought
..agree but my post #13 sees the racism card being shamefully played by Obama, Holder, NAACP etc sadly succeeding in dividing this country more and more because people are ill informed and that comes from our side of them media as well. People need to take a breath, step back out of the smoke, fire and brimstone plummeted on us by our government and the media each day.
