Obama seems to be failing more completely than any president in my lifetime. Everywhere you turn he is floundering, overreaching, or outright flunking. His only success — health care legislation — was achieved over the will of the people, rarely a good idea. He is manufacturing conservatives and libertarians at an unprecedented clip. The only mystery left for the coming November election is how bad a donnybrook this will be for the Democrats.

Why has this happened? The more relevant question is why wouldn't this have happened? In addition to being a leftist ideologue, Bambi is also one of the least qualified, least experienced experienced candidates we'eve ever elected. If not for his skin color, he would have polled behind John Edwards in the primaries.

I agree - but we're stuck with him for another 18 long months and unless America elects real conservatives to congress that will thwart Obama at every turn and effectively 'handcuff' him, our nation will still be suffering decades after Obama is long gone from the White House.

However I don’t know if “Republicans” are the [political] answer like the author concludes... the “Republican Leadership,” and seemingly party as a whole, is more interested in ‘playing nice’ than in doing what is right.

"Mama" It was more in keeping with his practice of disparaging the U.S.. "mama" means "you suck" in Spanish. He should have said, "Mamo" which he would mean, "I suck" but he was probably lying.
