I use this every time I paint with watercolors...
...Of course I mostly paint Christian knights slaughtering saracens, so it probably doesn't count.

The method was named after Al-Khwarizmi (780-850)one of the fathers of the algebra, which is named after his book Wrong. While the name is derived from al-jabr, that's the extent of the contribution. The methods existed in Babylonia, ancient Greece, and India long before muslims "invented" it.

Ironically, most of the common names of the visible stars are Arabic in origin ... What else do they went, rename them after Mohammed’s kin?

Nuts, I invented the algorithm. Actually quite a few of them. one flies jets at very low alitude, taking into account climb capability, dive limits, and acceleration "desires" (While an F-16 can pull 9Gs, you don't want to be doing that repeatedly for an hour or three, negative g's tend to hit your helmet against the canopy). Another determines inter-visibility between objects, perhaps thousands of them, at distances where the curve of the earth matters, and the earth has hills, mountains and valleys. which could interrupt visibility. (First "real", meaning not for a class, recursive algorithm I developed). Dev elopement of both of those algorithms involved algebra, not to mention trigonometry.
The Arabs were into algebra, which involves algorithms, sometimes.

“Muslim inventions” usually cannot stand the light of day. I suppose it’s marginally possible they invented the lie.

It doesn’t matter what Muslims did hundreds of years ago. What they are doing now is supporting “radical” Islam which is trying to destroy western civilization and push the whole world back a few centuries.

Al Gore invented the drum. Hence the term “algorithm”.
