An apology needs to come from the White Hut for the bad Americans in Arizona./s
In his 6/15/2010 speech from the Oval Office, Obama said in part "All of these approaches have merit, and deserve a fair hearing in the months ahead. But the one approach I will not accept is inaction. The one answer I will not settle for is the idea that this challenge is somehow too big and too difficult to meet. You know, the same thing was said about our ability to produce enough planes and tanks in World War II. The same thing was said about our ability to harness the science and technology to land a man safely on the surface of the moon. And yet, time and again, we have refused to settle for the paltry limits of conventional wisdom. Instead, what has defined us as a nation since our founding is the capacity to shape our destiny - our determination to fight for the America we want for our children. Even if were unsure exactly what that looks like. Even if we dont yet know precisely how were going to get there. We know well get there."
Securing the border has nothing to do with our inability to accomplish it. It has everything to do with the intention by this administration to not do anything about it. And this is evidenced by his gulf rhetoric compared to his inaction and in-attendance there as well.
The man cares nothing about America or Americans. It's all about global power, and under him America will be diminished to its proper role.
Will Obama sponsor another ‘beer summit’?
Will Obama ignore the seriousness of this threat and simply wait for the Sheriff, an American citizen, to be murdered?
What bit of phony theatrics will Obama use and who will he blame?
If that Sheriff gets murdered, there are not enough Secret Service folks to keep Obama from harms way.... no where near enough.
Only a couple of failed states can't secure their border. Even Iraq is guarding its borders now, for a good reason, and their land border is 2268 miles long! That's longer than the US-Mexico border (1933.4 miles.) What does that tell about the USA? That we can't post 10,000 soldiers in three or four shifts to watch the border? An efficient border protection force won't even need that many men.
If I worked for this Sheriff, I'd like him to publicly state that he declines a personal security detail. I'd then organize all the other deputies to covertly cover him around the clock and take out (you know, shot while resisting arrest) the hit men when they tried for him.
