Couldn’t this be considered slander since the guy hasn’t had a trial yet, never mind been convicted? I can’t stand the guy either, but isn’t this jumping the gun a bit?
Truth is an absolute defense — against slander (spoken) and libel (written) accusations.
Also, Gore would just have to SUE people who says he’s a pervert. I doubt he wants such lawsuits to occur, as they would explore whether he is, in fact, a pervert.
This would generate publicity that perverts normally try to avoid. It would also encourage Gore’s other victims to come forward.
Also, Gore’s victim has publicly accused him of being a pervert, and has stated this clearly in the 76-page police report.
“’Like’ my Facebook group” = self-absorbed popularity contest
I’m not sure how many it takes to win but the group has gone up 3 since I first looked at it.
At this rate, the sky’s the limit.
Well, is it slander or is it simply a discussion of the release of Algore’s second chakra?
To be slander/defamation it has to be intentionally malicious because Al Gore is a public figure. Because he is a political figure, you can pretty much say anything you want about him without fear. Besides, there is some evidence that the allegations are true.
