Here is video of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs saying that President Obama will use a speech on Thursday to push for Comprehensive Immigration Reform. Gibbs said Obama will “reiterate” that we “cannot have immigration reform passed individually by each state through a patchwork of laws.”
Gibbs said Obama will also emphasize that it will take “Republican support” to get an Immigration Bill passed, which he said, “has certainly been there in the past.”
The Arizona anti-Illegal Immigration Law really has the Obama crew rattled. They are afraid other states are soon to follow suit, and they want to do something to stop it from happening. But it’s hard to say whether Obama is really ready to go all out to get something passed, or whether he is just window-dressing to make the Latino voters not be so upset with him for not getting some kind of amnesty bill passed.

Excuse me Obamie... but have you heard of States Rights? Federal Government has failed on the illegal immigration issue on a massive scale. States have a right to protect their borders. The U.S. is not a single patch of land.
The States are only trying to do the job the Feds won’t do.
When he removes the fence from around the White House and stops demanding identification of those who attend his ‘town hall’ meetings then I will agree with him on border reform.

This clod knows the only chance he has to keep his job is to flood the polls with illegal aliens, and amnesty is the quickest way for him to do it.
A nation without a controlled border is exactly like a body without any skin....invasions of all types occur. The invasions we are experiencing are deliberately intended by this and the past administrations, involving actions by both political parties to our national detriment. Arizona, in self-defense, is trying to form a scab for protection and the current Administration is picking at it with all the force it has.
The borders, if they are ever enforced, will be to keep something in, apparently. Consider the concept of the North American Union...it would be ALL coastline except for a very narrow land border as currently exists at Mexicos’ extreme South, and which is heavily defended and enforced.

Funny, I thought the States reserved for themselves all powers not explicitly granted to the Federal Govt. in the Constitution. By that reasoning, the States should in fact be setting their own laws. But then, when has the current POTUS been concerned with the US Constitution, other than to trample on it?
