Judicial officials say a Saudi court has convicted four women and 11 men for mingling at a party and sentenced them to flogging and prison terms.
The men, who are between 30 and 40 years old, and three of the women, who are under the age of 30, were sentenced to an unspecified number of lashes and one or two year prison terms each.
The fourth woman, a minor, was sentenced to 80 lashes and was not sent to prison.
Islam. What a joke.
Not a day goes by that I don't hear about something that makes me respect Islam less and less....(Not like there was much there to begin with!)
Eighty lashes? Christ Almighty!! Whatever is going to be left of this poor girl will just be fit for burial, not prison!

Having worked (if you want to call watching me work, work ) with and known Saudi men in particular, these stories are hardly surprising.
We are not all of the same world: Saudi culture, society, laws, customs, way of life and people are some of the most dysfunctional, ass backwards, superstitious, lazy, perverted, smug, condescending ass wipes on the face of the earth...........except for the Palestinians.
How dare they mingle! I think they should be executed. That way we won’t have to do it later!
Apparently that type of "culture" inflicts other Arab countries. I have a bro-in-law who worked for one mideast country's computer department. The Arab "workers" only showed up to pick up their paychecks. All the actual work was done by Europeans and Indians.
