Lamh Foistenach Abu! Sorry but even though Stalin was a POS, he was instrumental in helping to defeat Hitler. To pretend that he and the Russians were not an important part of the war against Germany is just as bad as any other type of revisionist history.

He was also instrumental in helping to creating Hitler's war machine, since german soldiers and pilots received training in Russia to bypass the Versailles limitations on their military. And he was instrumental in colluding with Hitler to invade Poland and start WWII. Stalin should not be represented at a D-Day memorial.
It always helps to read the article before commenting. Stalin, no matter what his good traits were (!), was a murderous thug of epic proportions and deserves no statue on American soil. If he’s to be mentioned in history let it be as a jailer and destroyer of hundreds of millions of lives, including those Americans killed with Russian weapons and done in by Soviet treachery.
