Touche. Mark Kirk is 10X worse than Lindsey Graham, who many freepers refused to vote for after he won the primary. On every issue Graham is wrong on (amnesty, McCain, etc.) Kirk is ALSO wrong on -- PLUS Kirk sided with the RATs on a whole host of issues (abortion-on-demand, confiscation of all guns, surrender in Iraq, etc.), that Graham wouldn't be caught dead supporting.
The idea we "have to" support Kirk when many freepers boycotted far more conservative candidates is not only hypocritical but laughable at this stage. Many of the allegedly "RINOs" that freepers rant about like Bob Bennett and Norm Coleman are Reaganese compared to the marxist Mark Kirk.
Really? Because, unless Lindsey moved to Chicago recently, it seems to me that he's running against the president of Mafia Savings and Loan.
Period. Illinois Republicans and conservatives had the chance to beat him in the primary and couldn't do it.
Oh, for the record, Norm Coleman isn't in the Senate.
We have 6 years of Franken. Coleman (and his wonderful investigation of the UN) doesn't look so bad now, does it?
