Like the BP spill, the Ixtoc disaster began with a burst of gas followed by an explosion and fire, followed by a relentless gush of oil that resisted all attempts to block it. I remeber this oil spill really well. I was 10 yrs old and living in deep South Texas. We saw images of South Padre Island with small & huge tar balls washing up on the beach.
Yet you lived; good to hear.
but also, South Padre Island did not shut down and has grown tremendously as well in the last 30 years.

Maybe this pimp is running this blog for Obama?
I have aquired very specific protection.
Usually I still have to run a clean-up after visiting these blogs.
I’m giving serious thought to dedicating an out-of-service machine
to the task. It’s risky no matter how you approach it.
Some of us actually care about the users of FR and provide this
blog-bypassing service at no cost, no ads, no malware.
Because I’m a responsible member of the community, not a self-serving pimp.
If I knew my site was loaded with tracking software and maybe worse I would take it offline and clean it up.
I would also post an apology on every site where I had been pimping it for hits too.
