The drool-soaked lips seem to be losing their pucker.
President Obama's quixotic "This is a huge mess to so-LET'S BUILD A WINDMILL!" speech is receiving all of the critical acclaim of a "Billy Ray & Miley Sing Wagner" special.
The BBC reports of Barack Obamas speech last night are about as derisive as it would be possible to be about someone you were describing only a few months ago as the incarnation of Hope and Optimism. Yes indeed, the romance is over. The British media have decided that it was all a cruel deception: Obama is just one more ranting populist president who will do anything to divert attention from his own failure to get a grip.
Et tu, euro-fawners?

This is good to see.
FUBO!!...with an English accent.
We gotta get through more than two more years with this empty suit...lets hope there’s a country left.
LOL!
Wait a minute. We just heard from Sir Paul McCartney who informed us that the president was doing a “great job” and that we should “leave him alone”. Who are we to think otherwise?
Sir Paul MxCartney can kiss our American ass.

Sarkozy has his own doubts?
ping
Now that’s funny! LOL!!!
I mean seriously, leave him alone? the president is the most public figure in the world! Leave him alone? Just what exactly does that mean?
Exactly.
There’s a famous story of then Cassius Clay who was training for a fight in Miami I think around 1964 or thereabouts. Clay’s publicity people and the Beatles’ publicity people figured it would make for some good press for the 5 of them to be photographed together. This was done and the pictures are legend - Clay throwing a punch and all 4 Beatles going down like so many dominoes.
It’s reported that after the Beatles had left, Clay asked some of this people “Who were those fags”?
To all my british formerly-Obama-loving friends:
TOLD YOU SO!!!!
Yeah, we’re really sorry about voting for him now, what were we thinking?
Sorry, it’s just that so many of my online friends from England (on other forums) tried so hard to convince me he was god, it was sickening. I still haven’t spoken to many of them since before the election. Now the ones I still talk to are acting like *I* was the one who supported Obama, not the other way around. They’ve rewritten their memories. It’s creepy.
The human mind can be a disturbing thing sometimes.
Cue the Tele-Tubbies!
