Alabama Republican candidate Rick Barber unleashes a new ad in his bid for Congress that shows him sitting around the table with George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Sam Adams.
Barber calls for the impeachment of Obama while listing grievances such as the progressive income tax and healthcare, then asking for their support:
"Now this same IRS is going to force us to buy health insurance, cram it down our throats or else. Now, I took an oath to defend that with my life (pointing to the Constitution), and I cant stand by while these evils are perpetrated."
"You, gentlemen, revolted over a tea tax! A tea tax! Now look at us. Are you with me?"
If this guy can live up to this, he should win by a landslide!
Wow! I like it!
At least he’ll win or lose on his PRINCIPLES. Good for him.
LOL! This should be good. It is sure to draw serious flak from the libtards pounding us with their current communist assault. This ad should make them cringe like a demon seeing a cross.
Amen. I do not know anything about him really - or his opponent. He is a tea party candidate from what I can find.
His opponent is Martha “RINO” Roby
Glenn Beck is blasting the video. I think he is taking the “Gather your Armies” line a little too literally.
Note that the enemies of freedom don’t like this video. Wonder why?
“Oh yea!”
sincerely,
Kool-Aid Man
Beck can be such an asshole, and this is one of those times.
That’s great Chris.
You sign up on Sunday to promote your candidate?
Not cool even if he is on our side, nOOb.
exactly right, being absolutely ridiculous right now
He isn’t my candidate. I live in Texas. I never even said I support him. Other than that video I do not know anything about him or his opponent.
I’ve been here for a few weeks now.
I'm listening to the same thing. When I just heard the audio I was kind of on Glenn's side but now after seeing the ad, I thought it was a great ad and most Tea Partiers would agree. Now, how will it play to the moderates, I'm not sure.
As much as I agree with Barber’s message of egregious actions by an out of control government, I think it’s safe to say that those on the left looking for any excuse to paint us as reactionary and dangerous extremists could use this ad as prima facie evidence.
I didn’t hear Beck slam it, but I can understand why he might be nervous, especially in light of the proposed “diversity” legislation for the alternative media. In terms of potential targets, he’s got a huge bullseye on his back. Along with Rush.
Anybody know how I can get a link to the video only without going to somebody’s web page?
Glenn Beck just trashed him and the ad, really really bad. I am outraged at Glenn Beck today!

I should have been more direct.

All of your posts link to your site.
Blogging is fine but, trying to get hits for your site in an open forum format isn’t cool.
If Admin is giving you a pass, fine.
You are however new and you are going to get a nOOb welcome for a while.
