Yea, I remember 1998-99 and spending all my time here listening to the same paranoia about Y2K. If you can’t even deduce the logical idiocy of the original post in this thread, you are in fact hallucinatory.

1. RE Y2K: I didn’t know any spiritual leaders I significantly respected at the time who asserted that Y2K was going to be a big disaster. I knew several who asserted it wasn’t going to be a big deal.

2. Some sources to this day assert that some problems—moderate?—were averted by a huge amount of work ahead of time.

3. “logical idiocy of the original post in this thread, . . .” WHERE’S the “logical idiocy?” He posed a question. He didn’t know what to make of it. Several things were plausible then. Several things are still plausible.

4. I don’t find your high and mighty attitude attractive in the least. And I’ve never found such arrogance to correlate well with maximum logic nor with maximum lack of idiocy.

5. It sounds like you have minimal to nonexistent awareness of the major issues, risks, hazards, Biblical import of the times we live in. Very underwhelming.

I understand that the word ‘gullible’ isn’t in the dictionary, too.

I can think of a number of other words to replace “scared” with.

You are of course entitled to your opinion.

I never said run for the hills, ect.

I simply said something about an event that happened to me.

As for the thread being pulled/ closed...that’s entirely up to Admin.

Granny, do you know of a math person who’d be good at scoping out the range<<<<

No, I don’t and I am not the one that you want to mess with your numbers.

I can make my checkbook balance, it is the bank that does not make their numbers match mine.

I went to this clif guy's website due to this thread. Can't remember the name - something human - anyway this guy thinks that if you say the magic word to George Bush he will turn in to a reptile. Also had a lot of stuff there I would consider anti hebrew.

Makes me discount what they are saying lol

Henry Ford was a Nazi. Made great vehicles though.

Same syndrome.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

I get what you are saying. But here is the thing - Ford’s Nazi views had really nothing to do with the car he was making. This guy’s views have everything to do with the interpretation he is selling.

I guess I would like to see more raw data and come to my own conclusions. I didn’t see any raw data.

Cliff’s biases, maybe SOME of his values etc. as articulated in the latest report’s scenarios are . . . troubling. I also think more than a little off the wall. I think he thinks that he knows a lot more than he seems to really know.

However, IIRC, the scenarios are his FANTASIES taken from the findings of his software’s research.

I don’t know that they have a lot more validity than a Jr High kid’s fantasies about his girlfriend.

I still don’t know if the software is tapping ‘merely’ into TPTB’s communications infecting the web wholesale . . . some spiritual dimension—occultic, neutral or whatever . . . or what. Neither does Cliff though he uses words like “archetype” etc. Archetype may be a useful shorthand for a more complex reality but there’s no such thing as an archetype having full impactful sway, imho, in the ‘real’ world, whatever that is.

Or, put another way . . . I don’t buy into occultist Jung’s scheme on reality at all.

It MAY be that God is using the software as yet another way to say to our scientific infected era

WAKE-UP! FOLKS, THE GAME’S ABOUT TO CHANGE BIG TIME.

I have observed that at many points in life, God seems to use almost every means available to wake up even the pagans to looming judgment. Maybe HE’S doing that with Cliff’s softward.

Maybe it’s satan polluted scheming.

I don’t know.

I do know, the findings are extremely congruent with and quite similar to predictions from Christian prophetic sources over the last 20+ years . . . and particularly recently.

Throw in some of the Hopi predictions saying similar things and it gets a little more interesting.

THEREFORE WHAT?

I DON’T KNOW.

I just believe that the Spirit-filled, anointed, prayerful folks on our END TIMES, DREAMS, VISIONS, PROPHECY, PRAYER WARRIOR LIST

are best equipped to prayerfully ponder and make sense out of such . . . for their own prep or whatever as well as for the edification of the rest of FR and lurkers.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

BTW, There’s a prayer request . . . I thought originally it was meant to be anonymous think differently now . . . so am making it public but edited to enhance anonymity

Hey Quix,

Please forward this urgent prayer request to all on the prayer “ping” list.

My [loved one] K, was laid off from our restaurant we work at today. His drug use has escalated to the point that the owner said, “Enough”. I have been praying for a long time God would allow something to happen that would finally “wake” him up, and he would seek the help/treatment he needs before it’s too late.

My heart is SO heavy for him right now, but I know that it has reached “critical mass”.

Pray he’ll seek out the help he needs and God will give him the strength he will need to get through this.

God bless ya SO much, friend!

“2. Some sources to this day assert that some problems—moderate?—were averted by a huge amount of work ahead of time.”

For Y2K?

Absolutely.
Things would have been a disaster had nothing been done, but we had skilled people doing a lot of work to fix things ahead of time.
I worked for a dot com at the time.
Seeing how skilled the people were in the industry; I wasn’t very worried about Y2K.

I believe TC can elaborate a bit on that . . .

My own layman’s understanding “FROM A DISTANCE” is that:

1. the raw data as such would at a first or near first iteration be a bunch of relatively meaningless numbers. Perhaps a list of words and their clusterings might be available.

2. The iterative process takes some human cogitations to make meaningful sense out of the trends evident from the clusterings. There’s probably some room for values and bias to color that step somewhat. Yet, it’s still a fairly straightforward linguistic process at that point.

3. Even the bulk of the 35 page report—all but say the last 3-4 pages is still fairly straightforward stuff from the linguistic analysis—at least mostly. That right TC?

4. The SCENARIOS the last 3-4 pages of the report are Cliff admittedly going off on his own fantasized tangents imagining THEREFORE WHAT’s.

5. ONE of those tangents and scenarios was disturbing because it seemed to be mostly his very infected craziness about zionism etc. Zionism has some strange bedfellows here and there. However, God is behind Israel’s existence today regardless of the components contributing to it.

6. In any case, the software has shown itself to be useful in buying stocks and now in predicting major events in our era on our planet. I think it would be foolish to throw it in the trash and ignore it totally, unnecessarily.

7. Of course, one needs to pray about THEREFORE WHAT—EVEN WITH REGARD TO BIBLICAL PROPHECIES ONE IS READING OFF THE PAGE OF SCRIPTURE.
