Called Wachovia early this morning to reorder checks. In the process, I must have hit a button I wasn't supposed to.
The next thing I hear is a recording. "As of November First, all emergency procedures will be in place, and all Wachovia personnel should stay with their families. If you have any questions, please contact your Sector Supervisor."
Now, I'm not a nut, but the next thing I know an operator came on the line and asked me, by name what they could help me with. Got me looking over my shoulder, and I don't have nerves, just nerve.
Contact Drudge, PJTV, Breibart, Levin, Savage, DeMint, in other words, someone with spine, guts, and gonads to uncover the truth about the current treason.
“If Wachovia employees had been given that messsage, wed know about it. You dont keep random bank employees quiet.
If there was a button push that accidentally connected to a not-yet-in-use emergency message, hundreds of people would have heard it, because they get thousands of calls, and people push the wrong buttons all the time.”

Ok- then what does it mean? I’m sure she is not making this up.
If this is for real and applies to this year, there will more info on it later.
But given who is in power now, I don’t put anything past them in order to win elections/crash the system.
With this gang in power, think of the most evil thing you can muster up, and then you are at their starting point.
I prefer to call the “gang” in power — TRAITORS, enemies of freedom, evil doers.
OF COURSE.
NOT . . . is it proof of the opposite.
Sheesh.
Quite so. And much more of a tempered response than some hereon.
I don’t think we have enough info to say that ‘stay with family’ makes 0.00000% sense.
It is just a puzzle piece. Maybe it’s too tiny to make much of. It is a puzzle piece.
There are thousands of puzzle pieces.
The webbot commentators sound like they have a clue what’s going on with it predicting things like quakes, 911 etc.
They don’t. It’s wild arsed assumptions and fantasies as to what is going on that it successfully predicts such things.
It is !INTERESTING! that it DOES so.
No one knows how or why—including the originators.
“All” it does is look for emotionally laden words from massive amounts of text; collects a few words before and after the emotional word and then collects the resulting mass of data into clusters and analyzes those clusters etc.
I don’t know what it means. I can’t know truth here. I can only evaluate logically the possibilities.
My guess is that if there is some random button pushing, it isn’t a simple mis-hit of a number (for reason 2 I gave above). It seems logically that it would have to be something pretty unlikely.
However, there is another logical choice I ignored before — that this was a message to employees, but it was back in 2008. If so, even if some employee accidentally got it today, they’d know it was a mistake. The call center could have accidentally queued up the wrong message, and people could have reported it when talking to the live rep, and then they could have fixed it.
If I had heard a message like that, I would have certainly asked the person who I talked to live about it.
So anyway, my goal is not to credit or discredit the report — the truth or falsehood of the report is completely unknowable, unless we figure out how to hear it ourselves. I can only use logic to figure out what it could mean, and what it likely wasn’t.
I think those radio segments are worth some serious prayerful pondering. I believe the sources are essentially right. What % right, I don't know but I'd guess well over 80%.
I personally don't think my Freeper Bro is talking about them nuking the well. They might be that foolish. If they are, then I think the radio bit about the whole mess triggering the New Madrid would be a virtual certainty.
Maybe he'll read this and let me know whether he's more concerned about them nuking the well or the Ruskies and Chinese nuking CONUS. I believe the latter has been his bigger concern. I could be wrong.
Last I heard from him, he was loading up and getting out of town.
It increasingly feels like it's a near certainty that the rest of this year is going to be much more than a rough ride.
The number of sobering sources saying such things has gone straight up.
BTW, is there any mathematician who would be interested and have the free time to assess such sources according to some reasonable criteria and make a graph charting their increase over the last 3-12 months?
Perhaps your tagline should be X 10 to the 1,000th power.
Two other less likely but still plausible explanations:
1) A test of an emergency response system that was accidentally activated. If more than one person heard it, I’m certain some would mention it to the operator when they picked up, and it would get fixed.
2) An actual message about new emergency procedures that are in place, that include if there is an emergency, having employees stay at home and call into their sector supervisors. Each year around November my company sends out e-mails reminding us of emergency closure procedures in case of snowstorms, so it could be something like that, again that was mis-activated.
What seems highly UNLIKELY is that Wachovia has a message for their employees about some disaster that won’t happen until November, that Wachovia will take months to get into place the response for that emergency, AND that Wachovia programed their voice response system to tell employees about it in June, letting them know what to do in November.
Even if the highest levels of the company WERE planning for a November problem, they wouldn’t be voice-responsing their employees about it today, and they wouldn’t have prepared a voice response for it today. It simply doesn’t make sense.
Lastly, and this is more of a legal argument — if any of the conspiratorial thoughts about this message were true, Wachovia is part of a publicly traded company. If they had any knowledge about something in the future that could possibly effect the business, they would be required by law to publicly disclose that information.
Yes, they might decide to break that law, but if so they wouldn’t also try to tell all their employees about it. That would guarantee someone blows the whistle on them.
Also, you’d see employees selling their Wells Fargo stock.
THX FOR THE BUMP.
Change the placement to over all the nearest politicians’ mouths . . .
Thanks for the ping!
And . . . labels like that can easily get mangled by individuals.
But why would bankruptcy cause a the company to urge their employees to "stay with their families"? That makes no sense.
My hypothesis . . . which . . . given the vast number of puzzle pieces I’ve been collecting since 1965 . . .
is that the powers that be certainly know the broad outlines of what they have set up and are in the process of triggering—including total meltdown of the global economy.
And, some of that infor is filtering down to their closer friends, relatives etc.
and THAT is some of, if not most of what the webbot software is particularly sensitive to.
That would also be a source of some of the emergency prep stuff that we are increasingly hearing about . . . such as your tiny puzzle piece. Seems innocuous of itself. Perfectly reasonable and harmless.
Unless . . . thousands of other puzzle pieces indicate something else is going on.
It’s too bad you can’t use superscript in a tag line!
Granny, do you know of a math person who’d be good at scoping out the range of more serious alarming puzzle pieces, sources the last 1-12 months and graphing their INCREASE in NUMBER and SERIOUSNESS?
