No state has recall for nominated candidates. Only elected state (non-federal) officials.
These are the state central committeemen that make the decisions for the state party. One per congressional district (i.e. if you lived in the fourth congressional district and your congressman is Luis Guiterrez, then Craig Pesek is your representative in the state GOP). Their votes are weighted by percentage of GOP primary votes in their district, so committeeman from heavy GOP districts carry more power than committeemen from ultra RAT districts. Nevertheless, they all get a vote on what the state party does as a whole.
If the SCC called on Kirk to step aside, he'd probably be forced to do so. And they would name any such replacement.

FAT CHANCE that'll happen.
My own SCC representative (1st District) disappointed me, he appeared on Kirk's primary campaign endorsements letter and never answered my emails expressing my concern about it (his late predecessor would have NEVER endorsed a liberal Republican like Kirk in the primary, and she had been a huge foe of Topinka). In person he denied that he ever gave Kirk permission to list him on the endorsement letter. I said he should call Kirk's office then and request to have his name removed. He never followed up on that one.

Dump the lying bum Kirk now. He will never get my vote or anyone's in my family. I am also talking to every member of my church (Yes, there's politicking in church - just like the democrats do).
I'm talking to every one I know, telling them about Kirk's very liberal voting record in congress.
I live in Illinois' 10th congressional district, I vote and am an active conservative.
Kirk is a stench on the Republican party.
And I signed it.

One guy lost every single race he ever ran in. The other is the mayor of the town where Drew Peterson is from. And I don't want to slander Mr. Claar as I met him, but there are rumors, that he is, well I'll put it this way.
I refer to Alexi as a Greek Al Capone. I'll let you guys figure out what I am hinting at.
Although I don't think he could win a race for city dog catcher.
Claar=Betty Loren Maltese?
I too like Oberwies’s products. His fruit punch as well. He should stick to what he does well and stay out of politics.
That's kinda where I was going with my statement. I've heard rumors, but who knows?
