The videos from hidden cameras provided by Secure Border Intel seem to disagree with him.

ACTION makes it happen.
Obama doesn't want the border secure. These are future Obamabutts that will keep him in power and his surrogates.

Two fences 100 feet apart along the border. Razor wire on top of the fences. Land mines randomly distributed in the area in between the fences. Machine guns mounted on towers atop the inner wall, programmed to shoot at anything moving in the space between the two walls (a real virtual fence). After two or three well publicized “incidents” where the illegals test the wall, we should see an abrupt end to the cross border foot and vehicle traffic.
Next step, begin the roundup of illegals inside the borders. Announce a 60 day amnesty period where any illegals inside the country can come to the border and be processed back into Mexico. After that, start rounding them up in well publicized raids at employers, at community centers, at homeless shelters, and in neighborhoods. Process those rounded up in the raids within 48 hours and march them back across the border within 7 days.
Next step, once they know we mean business, announce a final 30 day amnesty period where those illegals remaining in the country can come to the border or defined collection points to be processed for deportation.
After that 30 period is over, begin a 2-3 year program of aggressively rounding up illegals in the country and deporting them.
Too bad no politician has the stomach to propose this plan or vote for it.
