Their “Pathway to Citizenship” is “Amnesty” - Dummy!

Recognizing American disdain for words like “communism” and “socialism,” politicos adopted new names under which to market the exact same concepts, like “progressive” and “democracy.”

You simply can’t get Americans to openly accept communism or socialism, Marxism or Maoist philosophies. But many Americans will buy into the same concepts and policies under much more American sounding titles. The same is true of amnesty for illegal aliens.

With both Democrats and Republicans supporting some form of amnesty, the November election cycle is not likely to change anything regarding our current pathway to self destruction. Until our borders are secure, nothing in this nation is secure…

In the current Arizona race, McCain proclaims over and over that he has NEVER been for amnesty. More word games.

John McCain, of course, now says this is NOT Amnesty, that he has NEVER wanted Amnesty and now wants to build a fence! But his own words refute that one!

[snip]A day earlier, in Milwaukee, in front of an audience of more sympathetic businessmen, McCain had been asked how debate over the immigration bill was playing politically. “In the short term, it probably galvanizes our base,” he said. “In the long term, if you alienate the Hispanics, you’ll pay a heavy price.” Then he added, unable to help himself, “By the way, I think the fence is least effective. But I’ll build the goddamned fence if they want it.”

* May 29, 2003 interview: McCain: “Amnesty has to be an important part because there are people who have lived in this country for 20, 30 or 40 years, who have raised children here and pay taxes here and are not citizens.“

* Dec. 15, 2000 press release: McCain: ”I support the Latino and Immigrant Fairness Act (LIFA). Negotiations between the White House and the leadership, which endorsed more limited immigration reform, have resulted in a compromise.... this bill makes meaningful but insufficient progress on amnesty for those wrongly denied it.“

This may be the ONLY time John McCain told the truth.

John McCain: no amnesty for illegal aliens could lead to France-style riots

...The man wasn’t satisfied with McCain’s answer. He asked McCain why the U.S. couldn’t execute large-scale deportations, as he had heard they did in France and other countries. The question seemed to pique McCain.

“In case you hadn’t noticed, the thousands of people who have been relegated to ghettos have risen up and burned cars in France,” McCain said. “They’ve got huge problems in France. They have tremendous problems. The police can’t even go into certain areas in the suburbs of Paris. I don’t want that in the suburbs of America.”

This is definitely an us or them issue with McCain.

He thinks a fence is the least effective?? What does he really think of life in his state without one.???

He obviously has never really though about it

RETIRE McCain your day in the sun is over

I am thrilled to have hard-working foreigners coming to America legally. My great-great grandparents were in that category, and America was lucky to get them. As for criminals who enter our country illegally, they should be fingerprinted and permanently barred from any path to citizenship. That’s the starting point for any acceptable “immigration reform”, and after that I’m willing to listen on how we’re going to secure the borders and how we’re going to open up legal immigration to meet those needs for a legal workforce that cannot be met by Americans. I’d like to hear what parts of Pelosi/Reid’s “reform” meet my standards.

The dirty little secret is, they don’t want citizenship. They are looking for jobs, freebies and money.

Many are hard core criminals coming here to...well do what criminals do. Think about it— if you were a criminal wouldn’t you want to go to a country where crime pays a lot more and if you get caught the consequences are far less?

Heck, now the government is setting them up in country club atmosphere complete with 12 hour visitations, free phones unmonitored, etc, etc....the cartels will set up in immigration detention centers.

We’re also getting their criminal element that they can’t keep prosecuted and locked up. Why should they deal with them when they can force us to??

ICE to make detention centers more humane

We don’t even have a prospective conservative POTUS candidate yet who does NOT support a “path to citizenhip” amnesty.

It's only a secret to open borders types, idiots and moonbats. All the rest of us know this already - and have for years.
