AT&T Ad Campaign. Simply beautiful.

AT&T is a cell phone carrier that knows how to make a successful promotion. Take a look at these great posters using just hands and a phone. The American carrier recreates a popular idea of painting hands into the colors of different countries.

A little lightness for you in a crazy world. There's more where this came from. Come see and enjoy.

Their promotions may be great, but their treatment of long time customers sucks.

We just cancelled our AT&T phones and DSL. We had been cusomers for 49 years with the exception of when they magically became SBC. The cost of both lines and the DSl creeped up every other month and the cost of just the two lines and DSL was over $100 monthly.

The phone service was terrible as the old lines deteriorated each day. Both of our phone lines would ring at the same time. Often we would go hours/days without the lines working. Each time we got a service person, they would do a minor patch job that worked for a few days.

Every rain shut down the phone lines, and when they came back on it was like the old party line days. We heard conversations from our neighbors to others and vice versa.

Most of us on the cul de sac had the old AOL SBC dsl which was slow and unpredictable and crapped out when the college kids were home.

During a spring break, I get a call from one of my neighbors from his cell to mine. He told me to come up and see what his service guy had taken off the dsl connection.

I still don’t know what it was, but apparently it worked like governor to slow down the AOL/SBC DSL and as noted above crap out during college breaks when the college kids were home.

After a few intense discussions we walked the guy down the hill to remove the damn thing from the neighbors junction boxes. Our DSL connections were faster and didn’t clog up during the spring break except during the rains.

Recently (twice in 3 months) we would get a scolding letter saying that our credit card company refused to pay our AT&T bill. Amazingly, every other bill paid monthly by that credit card never had a problem. When this happened again, and I was ignored about how they were the ones who screwed up the credit card data, I decided break up the long term relationship.

For the same reasons, several neighbors have gone to cell phones for their phone conversations, comcast.net and a dish for their tv.

$crew AT&T and their terrible treatment of good longterm customers like us, many of our neighbors and relatives across the country.

I won’t even go to the website to give AT&T the hits. AT&T stinks.

It’s good that their marketing is cool, because their service is awful.

AT&T is a cell phone carrier that knows how to make a successful promotion.

I'm looking for a bank that knows how to make a successful hamburger.

And a car company that knows how to make a successful stapler.

And maybe a computer company that knows how to make a successful lampstand.
