It appears Mitt Romney is getting a bit nervous as a result of all the well-deserved credit Governor Palin received for helping Nikki Haley in South Carolina, both in the media and by Haley herself. In fact Romney is so nervous he feels compelled to return to South Carolina to campaign for Haley before the runoff on the 22nd. Via the Politico:
Former Massachusetts GOP Gov. Mitt Romney will soon travel to South Carolina to stump for Nikki Haley in the states runoff of the GOP nomination for governor.

He's also penned a USA Today Op Ed for tomorrow about the oil spill...51 days late. NRO is in a lather about it, saying he "tagged" Obama.
Mitt better be careful or the Beltway Bigs of the GOP might trade him in for another model.

Even if Mitt had an affair with Nikki he'd get no publicity. What a sad little mouse man..squeak, squeak.

Mitt got his clone, Van Johnson loving, Democrat funding, non voting Meg Whitman, so he’s doing O.K.

The establishment is already kicking the tires on Mitch Daniels. Mitt is in a silent panic right now. He'll have been running for a decade by the time the next GOP Presidential Primary comes around, and will have spent more money than the GDP of several small nations with nothing to show for it.
Still, the GOP ladies all seem to fawn over Mitt, so he's gonna have a chance to charm ol’ Nikki into either an endorsement or neutrality for 2012. I hope she becomes the first GOP lady to actually resist his charm.

I saw the money paragraph from the NRO blurb. Mitt Romney had the unmitigated gall to cite Reagan (among others) as examples of crisis leadership. He and his daddy despised the man. Barf.

from niiki’s remarks on Fox news today she gives large credit To Palin for standing behind her during the mudslinging and wants Palin to campaign for her in the general.

The establishment is already kicking the tires on Mitch Daniels. I saw somewhere today that Daniels is saying again he's not interested. We'll see. There may need to be a name attached to "Stop Palin V2.0" pretty soon.

I hope she wins in the general gov moonbeam would destroy CA. that said the media is portraying Whitman as a mama grizzly today. Advantage Palin on that one. have not seen any mention of Mitt helping her win. Mitt likes to work behind the scenes and not take public chances so when he fails he loses nothing but on the flipside it only works if there isn't someone like Palin out in public taking the chances.

Gov Moonbeam. Funny!
I think he’s too late to destroy CA. It’s already toast. Illegals and a colony of moonbats are running the place.

Instead of actually getting in the fight Mitt insists on being a door mat hoping something good will rub off on him. Sorry Mitt only dirt. You can’t lead from the mat, you actually have to get in the fight.

I may be in the minority here but I don’t really think Mitt is interested in running. I’m not even sure Palin is interested. I know Huckabee is not going to run. Huck is having the time of his life so I don’t blame him one bit. Why give up a Job making good money, celeb status, and playing music with the best in the biz. No way he’s going to quit his job with Fox.

Your boy Mitt is having a fit In what way does questioning Palin equate to Romney support?
So if I don't like Sprite that means I'm in favor of chocolate milk?
Don't be retarded.

It doesn't necessarily at all equate.
In this case, it's from a post from JR to him that I got it. He won't answer if he is or not, which is somewhat normal for that group.
I don't mind anyone questioning Palin as a general rule. It's one of the ways we can learn about the candidates, yes?
When it's done for another candidate, it has a different light to it, and it just gets old.
