Are they still adding wind turbines to that wind farm? We see two - four MOPAC trains go through Austin each week and each flatbed car has a single tower part on it. They are the base and the top. We were watching one go through at noon one day and counted over 60 loaded freight cars.

Whose bright idea was it (Jimmy Carter) to take one third of our nations corn crop to create fuel? Im not pointing fingers (Jimmy Carter), but this was a bad, bad idea. Jimmy Carter and W.

Im surprised they did well in crash tests. Designed smarter, not bigger. Even the tires are part of the crash design (they're essentially rubber balloons, so what better to absorb crash energy?).

I’m on the other side of the sound. :)
Bass & Blues, baby!
The outflow is best for late fall Blackfish (tog) IMO, though.

Oh yes. The turbine blight continues apace so that that neo-hippies in Dallas and Austin can hold their noses in the air.

Real world physics is a hard task master.

They are, but back BC (before computers) they were known as roccus saxatilis. Once computers started talking to each other, (late 60’s?) they found out that some fish in the Mediterranean had been named that before our striped bass had been named, so they changed it to morone.(I never liked that name!)

Interesting, thanks for the info!
Been hitting them pretty good lately in the river a couple hundred yards from my house. Lots of fun. A few keepers so far, not many.

I used to always take vacation the last week of June and troll them up on Center Island Reef with bunker spoons or umbrellas. Some real cows used to hang there - 40# +

SWEET! Heading out tomorrow night on the neighbors 16’ tin boat to the reefs.
I’ll have a boat next year, need a new furnace this year. Responsibility sucks!
Where do you live now? (If you don’t mind saying).

Well I am hoping that solar works well at least for individual homes because I plan to get that for my new house within a year of closing. Not that I am worried about the environment, I am just not looking forward to the power bills we will see once Obummer passes Cap & Tax.

Well what can I say --- your plan to move to solar is EXACTLY one of the reasons why they want to pass this Cap & Tax bill. They want millions of people to plan like you.

Not much you can do other than weigh the choices the government forces upon you and choose wisely.
