Barack Obama promised us leadership not commissions when he was running for President:

Just today, Senator McCain offered up the oldest Washington stunt in the book – you pass the buck to a commission to study the problem. But here’s the thing – this isn’t 9/11. We know how we got into this mess. What we need now is leadership that gets us out. I’ll provide it, John McCain won’t, and that’s the choice for the American people in this election.

America took him for his word. Instead the President keeps pulling commission after commission out of his sleeves.The latest one is the BP oil spill commission... There was the Medicare Commission, but Medicare is still going broke. There was the Job Summit but unemployment is still at 10%. Of course there is the almighty Debt and Deficits Commission cooking the bitter medicine that will be introduced to swallow after the elections in November... There are plenty of existing bureaucracies in Washington DC who are responsible for the environment, commerce, energy and national security. There is no need in creating a new one called a commission. It is time to make those existing bureaucrats do their job better, not just make up commissions to fix the mess they stir.

Washington’s favorite trick is to set up a Presidential Commission to investigate a lie. Decades ago this was perfected when the crime of the century was investigated this way.

The Presidential Commission came up wit the right answer and much of the evidence was classified and locked away. When America saw a film 12 years later they knew they had been lied to.

Congress then re-investigated the investigation but there was a huge problem: They found evidence that PROVED the earlier investigation was a scam.

The JUSTICE DEPARTMENT then found an academic board who would look at the conflicting evidence and guess what? The academics came up and found the conflicting evidence was invalid and they proved this NOT by addressing the scientist’s method who did the previous study but they disproved it by buying off on a childish conflict that can be easily explained away.

Washington loves to lie and Obama wants to shut down the oil wells. Obama will do it by taking the recommendations from a bunch of incompetent fools.
