Turkey: Next Time Israel Will Have to Deal With our Navy!
Logans Warning ^ | May 3st, 2010 | Christopher Logan

Posted on 05/31/2010 2:54:20 PM PDT by Islaminaction

As predicted Turkey has taken a turn for the worst, and is no true ally of non-Islamic countries. The relationship between Turkey and Israel has been deteriorating, with Turkey recently telling Israel they have to give up their nukes. Now we see how they will stand with their Muslim brothers, no matter what the facts are. Non-Islamic countries need to start banding together, and face the harsh reality of the impending showdown with the Islamic world. A good start would be if Sweden stopped funding Turkey to the tune of 8.5 million euros a year. Since Muslims think that Islam is so great, let them fend for themselves.

The euros had better gather up the Turks and send them home.

The Turkish Air Force represents a formidable enemy for Israel.

The Turkish Air Force (Turkish: Türk Hava Kuvvetleri) is a branch of the Turkish Armed Forces. It is one of the oldest air forces in the world, and with a current inventory of more than 930 aircraft, ranks 3rd in NATO in terms of fleet size, behind the USAF and RAF. Supported by the TuAF's long-range in-flight refueling capability, the fighter jets of the Turkish Air Force can participate in international operations and exercises on all continents of the world.

In 1984 the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) was established and Turkey started to locally produce fighter aircraft under license; including a total of 232 F-16 Fighting Falcon (Block 30/40/50) aircraft for the Turkish Air Force. The TuAF had previously received 8 F-16s that were directly purchased from the United States, bringing the number of total F-16s received by the Turkish Air Force to 240. TAI is currently building 30 new F-16 Block 50+ aircraft for the TuAF and is applying a CCIP upgrade on the existing fleet of Block 30/40/50 F-16s, which will bring all of them to the Block 50+ standard.

On July 11, 2002 Turkey became a Level 3 partner of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) development program, and on January 25, 2007, Turkey officially joined the production phase of the JSF program, agreeing to initially purchase 116 F-35A Lightning II aircraft.

A total of four Boeing 737 AEW&C MESA Peace Eagle aircraft (together with ground support systems) were ordered by the Turkish Air Force, with an option for two more aircraft. Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) is the primary subcontractor for the Peace Eagle parts production, aircraft modification, assembly and tests. Another subcontractor, Havelsan, is responsible for system analysis and software support.

Turkey is one of five NATO member states which are part of the nuclear sharing policy of the alliance, together with Belgium, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. A total of 90 B61 nuclear bombs are hosted at the Incirlik Air Base, 40 of which are allocated for use by the Turkish Air Force in case of a nuclear conflict, but their use requires the approval of NATO.

I see far too many people that still believe that Turkey is an ally.

The assumption that no matter what is thrown at them the Israelis can handle it should be examined carefully to see if it matches reality. They didn’t cover themselves with glory with this boarding party.

If Israel attacks Turkey from the rear, would Greece help?

We have seen how Europe deals with Jews.

Yep. Frances Townsend, former Bush and now CNN advisor, said today that if it had been a U.S. Navy Seal thrown overboard everyone on the ship would have been killed.

That's how peace is maintained, especially when most of Europe is still disappointed Hitler failed.

Who commands the Fifth Fleet? His name starts with O, ends with A, and has B, A, and M in the middle.

This is not the good old days, don’t assume anything.

As an aside note, it’s the Sixth Fleet that operates in the Mediterranean, not the Fifth.

The US is likely to join Turkey, our “NATO ally” in sending naval forces against Israel. Remember who is POTUS.

You mean that Usurper sitting in the oval office? Far as I can tell, Biden would be POTUS, if he'd taken the oath of office (which is slightly different than the one the VP takes.

“Yeah when it was Constantinople “

That was exactly what I referring to! I lived there a few years during martial law. Not a pleasant place; fun, but extremely hostile. It was when I realized some people are just savages by nature.

Why can’t Israel be moved to South Florida. We can sell them the bottom half of the state - let them bring everything they can with them. London Bridge was transported to Nevada, right? What they have to leave, they can destroy. Or give it to the Arabs - it won’t matter. In 20 years the beautiful Israel will just be one more crappy Arab hellhole. Let’s save the Jews while we can...

I see far too many people that still believe that Turkey is an ally.

These are the same people thinking that Turkey had nothing to do with the Armenian genocide. And they same ones who can list the American Idol winners by year or last name but unable to explain who Soliman the Magnificent was or tell us when Constantinople fell...so no surprise there, unfortunately!

These would be the first F-16s ever lost in air to air combat, I think.
