As you know, the Deep Water Horizon has exploded in the Gulf of Mexico. It has been spewing oil from a ruptured wellpipe for over a month.
BP and the US Government has said they are trying everything possible to stop that multi million gallon oil from continuing to flow into the Gulf.
I am about to dispute that claim and offer an expose' as to why that story about them doing everything possible is a lie and a profitable enterprise to those who would make money from this disaster.
The Top Kill method was started and suspended several times. It was being attempted only half heartedly. The reason is, there is no money to be made with a solution that simple.
The real money is in the use of dispersements.
There is a company called NALCO. They make water purification systems and chemical dispersements.
NALCO is based in Chicago with subsidiaries in Brazil, Russia, India, China and Indonesia.
NALCO is associated with UChicago Argonne program. UChicago Argonne received $164 million dollars in stimulus funds this past year. UChicago Argonne just added two new executives to their rosta. One from NALCO. The other from the Ill. Dept of Educaution.

You are just DYING for Betty to smack you around, ain’tcha?
If I had a nickel for every time I was up to my monkey boards in mud and pipe dope, I’d have like three nickels.
ummmm, nationalize BRITISH Petroleum?
I for one am getting nothing from BP. I’m just a girl who works in oil, and I know bullsh!t when I avoid stepping in it.
A better incentive would be to start drilling in America. We have so much oil under this continent we should NEVER have to be held hostage by foreign companies having an oil spill anywhere in the world.
Who cares about BP’s company value? Who is going to profit for their black numbers? Not us. We’ll still be subject to oil spills and $$$$ per barrel of crude and no one, unless s/he is a share holder will benefit from BP’s assets.
We don’t need BP to drag their heels over an oil spill that is damaging an already weak economy; we don’t need excuses from the liberals and the leftists who think this country should buy foreign oil; we don’t need whiney folks who care more about another country’s company than they do about finding good solid work in this country, for folks who LOVE this country, and stand to benefit from any and all wells that are drilled here and all the shale that is to be refined here, than all the OPEC countries combined.
The truly sad thing is that American oil companies are held hostage by the price that OPEC sets for a barrel of oil. That’s so American oil companies can’t be weaned from foreign oil. We need to be independent.
Who is going to fight for that? And, as an aside, how many natural gas and oil leaks are under the oceans, and have been spewing oil for hundreds or thousands of years? Who is going to clean that up? Any takers?
Never let a good conspiracy theory go to waste. Let’s think about something here....pre “al gore’s internet” we didn’t have second by second thoughts broadcasted all over the world for all of us to consider. This author’s theory may or may not be true, but it certainly deserves some good investigating. i wouldn’t pooh-pooh this quite yet. if folks are willing to believe Glenn Beck as he puts pieces of the puzzle together, why not believe this as well. who knows, maybe Glenn will start talking about this in a week or two.
I grew up in oil country, with riggers, salesmen and owners. I resent the hell out of a foreign company coming here to pump oil, then taking their sweet time before doing something about their own mistake.
If you “work in oil” then you need to be fully informed and not just a “company girl.”
I resent being held hostage every time some foreign company wrecks a tanker anywhere in the world, and I resent the price of gas going up every frickin’ holiday weekend “because it can.”
BS smells a lot like crude, don’t it?

So supply and demand torques you up?
‘Cause that’s why gas prices rise and fall.
The US is going to get the cost of clean-up no matter what. The spill has caused untold millions of dollars of damage to small busines owners in the Gulf, and whether we feel it directly as fishermen, or indirectly as clean-up crews, our tax dollars are hard at work paying for the ineptitude of BP.
And this is not the first of such disasters.
If we clean it up, BP can write up the losses in revenue no matter what. They drill offshore...over three miles out. International waters.
You’re aiming at the messenger and not the message.
If America was allowed to drill its own wells in this country and refine OUR oil in our own refineries, we would not have to worry about supply and demand.
If we had never allowed the rogues in Disneyland East to sell us to OPEC, we could set our own oil prices.
As it is, refineries in the Mountain west and in Texas and Oklahoma, Wyoming and Nebraska are idle because someone thought tree huggers had more right to the minerals under the ground than the American public did.
I suspect you weren’t alive in the days of “gas wars.” No, it wasn’t who was going to clean up whose spill. Gas wars were stations who fought for business by making the gas prices less than the guy across the street...
Get an education. See if you can find some really, honest histories about oil companies in this nation from the first to today. Then tell me supply and demand is what torques me up, if you have learned anything.
I suspect you will still want to shoot the messenger.
I think the conclusions are bunk but the connections are very interesting (if true)
Who pinged me into this den of lunatics?
A nit-wit article by a nit-wit author.
XXEEENA!!!!!
The market goes up, the market goes down.... Buffet makes money, so what if we drown.

Exactly... these conspiracy theories are frigging retarded.

That is a risk, not to mention the radioactive contamination.
