I’m not surprised. His honesty with contestants shows he’s a conservative. Ellen always sugar coats and tries not to hurt feelings. Typical of a liberal non-politician. same with Randy. Not too sure of what’s her name.

American Idol guy. Came out for the conservative Cameron in UK election. Espouses generally conservative fiscal principles in the short interview. Live within your means. American dream is real. Have to work hard to make it.

I’m a conservative and I don’t like to hurt anyone’s feelings. Most every liberal I know is usually foul-mouthed and say whatever they please.

...good for you! My point is, in show business, there’s no greater disservice than giving false hope, of which Ellen does. Honesty and common sense = conservative. Emotion and false hope = liberal.
But you can criticize someone constructively without getting nasty.
