Obama’s Top Officials Response Team on the BP oil spill is lacking credibility

Thousands of good people are working all across the Gulf of Mexico to fight the ecological disaster caused by the BP oil spill. Unfortunately we rarely see those everyday heroes. Instead we watch the waffling of the Obama administration top officials respond team... Lisa Jackson –the Administrator of EPA is one of the most hated officials in America. She showed total disrespect for the people of this country. When the public outrage was building during ClimateGate and the cap-and-trade bill was not able to go through the US Senate Lisa Jackson issued an executive order declaring the carbon dioxide being a pollutant.

If EPA can put the special interest of the Climate Change ‘Crime Inc’ before the people – how can the folks trust her to protect them from the special interest of BP?

The Attorney General Eric Holder is viewed as a fierce dogmatic by many people around the country... With Attorney General being so out of touch with the people how does Obama administration expect thousands of victims at the Gulf States filing claims against BP to feel confident they are protected by competent officials?

Janet Napolitano has three terrorist attacks on US soil on her watch.People realized they have to count on Christmas miracles and pray that enemy’s incompetence is greater than Napolitano’s.

“Plug that damn hole.” Wow. That’s right up there with “Ask Not what your country can do for you” and “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”

Plus President vacation’s other notable quote: “GO for IT Republicans!”

Not only did Obama and his administration come late to this party but once they actually got around to it, they fell far short, a day late and a dollar short, incompetent and ignorant.

Obama is one of the most incompetent presidents we have ever had in this country. The Obama administration is a complete and utter failure much like the Jimmy Carter presidency except magnified by a thousand times.

Its probably a source of immense frustration for a statist such as O, but you can’t simply order the hole plugged.

Its going to be a tricky operation, each thing we try may take weeks of preparation, and then the next thing we try may take weeks more. All you can do is try to mobilize whatever assets you have and make them available to the oil service companies doing the work, and to the coastal states.

This isn’t the first accident and it won’t be our last. Our economy and the economies of the entire world run on oil. We can buy the oil from countries who are willing to deal with the risks of oil production, shipping them whole boatloads of cash every day, or we can develop our own resources and and pay those boatloads of cash into the pockets of American workers, contractors, investors and government treasuries.

That means dealing with the risks of oil production.

O and O’s minions are worried because they think this crisis makes him look ineffectual, but thats because they don’t understand the role of the federal government and really never did. Its not the president’s job to be an expert on drilling. Its his job to marshall the whatever government resources there are that would be useful, and otherwise let the people working on the problem get on with it. Turning this into an hour-by-hour presidential crisis when it may take three or four months to fix is pointless.

Lisa Jackson –the Administrator of EPA

Wasn't she the one that continued with her white water rafting vacation after the explosion?

I know it was one of these peons.

the major admin failing is their response to spill measures. their delays on LA’s dike proposal is typical.

I agree. They are so worried trying to figure out how to spin the politics that they can't make a simple decision.
