If you have an inkling that Americans are in a BAD MOOD in regards to what is going on in the beltway, chances are, you COULD BE RIGHT.

According to a CBS News political poll: “Opinions of both parties, meanwhile, are at or near historic lows: 55 percent of those surveyed hold unfavorable views of Republicans, and 54 percent hold unfavorable views of Democrats.

The president’s job approval rating has fallen to 47 percent, and, perhaps more crucially, Americans no longer say he shares their priorities for the country.

Question! If more people disapprove of Republicans than Democrats, how come Republicans are winning Democrat seats, and how come more people now identify themselves as Republicans? Sounds fishy.

I am angry that 54% have an unfavorable view of Republicans. That number can be placed squarely at the door of an unfair, biased media. They have spent years bashing Republicans for no good reasons, aside from the fact that the members of the media are overwhelmingly self identified as Democrats. Meanwhile the Democrats are actually grinding our economy, culture and history into dust and the media is either supportive of muted in their critisism. The 53% unfavorable rating for the Democrats is directly tied to their legislative undermining of our country and their haughty indifference to the large opposition to their agenda, not to a longstanding policy of “bash the Republicans” by a biased press corps. Why the heck should Republicans be less trusted that Democrats? We are the ones trying to preserve America, while the Democrats are trying to destroy it.
