A Professor at the University of Arizona was booed multiple times during a commencement speech in which she attempted to defame Arizona's governor,Jan Brewer, and the new immigration legislation that she currently signed into law:
"The new Arizona law generally known as SB 1070 is considered the strictest anti-immigrant legislation in the country(Booing starts), and is explicitly intended to drive undocumented immigrants (interrupted by loud BOO's !)...out of the state (interrupted again by loud booing and chants for 24 seconds)...One reason it has instigated a boycott is because to a whole lot of people, myself included, it appears to not only invite, but require the police to engage in racial profiling...(Boos erupt again) "

If one of my kids was at this commencement, I’d be suing the school for wasting my money on this pinhead speaker! And if I was one of the students, it’d be a cold day in Baghdad before they’d get any alumni donations from me.
I think it’s time we boycott Universities and Colleges that put nutjobs like her in charge of our kids...we’re fed UP with this crap!
HA...I kinda did that surreptitiously....with my niece....took her to 3 liberal universities she WANTED to attend here in Oregon....all cost about $40-45K a year....and, she said she could get money for about half of it (from where I’m not sure).....anyhoo....when she went back home I told her parents via email that none of them were worth the $$ - besides which they didn’t have the money to pay....needless to say, she isn’t attending these places! And, just might get a better “education” sans as much indoctrination...we shall see.

Seems it hardly matters where they go, or don’t go. My son has just finished a full year of taking college courses on-line for criminal justice. I reviewed each of the course manuals and assignments and found every single one of them, including writing, research, ethics, science, critical thinking and history, to be ENTIRELY indoctrinating to progressive politics. I proof/edit both of my son’s college papers...some days my blood would be just boiling!

It appears that the pot smokers I knew in college turned into the professors and are running the universities now. I recognize the whiny, serious, haughty tone of voice and monotone delivery. Sadly, this is considered higher education in America. Indoctrination at the feet of fools like this Gender Studies professor.

She is a liar! Federal law is much stricter so she should be whining about Obama not the governor of AZ!
It appeared to me it was because she is a liberal nut. I’m sure her self estem has been dented and rightly so. She should be fired for doing that at the expense of the graduates.
